In related news, Greens might not stand in Plymouth to help Labour win. Interesting tactic.

I really hope this becomes a thing. A progressive alliance would really work and we can finally get the voting system changed so people wouldn't need to make spreadsheets and vote swapping websites each election :fp:

Caroline Lucas has recently come out with a statement reinforcing the alliance idea and to change the voting system to something fairer. It won't happen this time around but fingers crossed for 2022.

Presumably that left wing legacy will be the permanent obliteration of Labour ever being in power again so it will be quite an achievement alongside his pathetic attempts with regards Brexit.

Come on, did anybody honestly expect any different?
The only way Corbyn is ever going to stop being the Labour leader is if he's forced out or he dies.

There's something about Tim Farron that I find…unsettling. Saw him on the news last night, having not really paid any attention to him before, and he just seems a bit odd, kind of like Ed Miliband did.

And 5 Live are going overboard already with their coverage, and somehow seem genuinely excited about another 7 weeks of obsessive coverage. :dread:

Have you ever seen Farron eat a bacon sandwich?

:slol: :fp:

In Labour's desperation, they turned to a man they didn't fully understand. Some men aren't looking for anything logical, like electoral success. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

That article is meaningless until after the election. If Corbyn loses (which he is almost certainly going to do) then we will see if he will give up the leadership. I suspect it will depend on how badly he loses, if it is a much closer result than expected, he will argue that he is moving the party the right way. If he gets thrashed, then I don’t see him holding on.

Of course what he could do is import a Tory MP or two, lose in his own constituency, declare he is quitting, then reverse that and hold on for a bit before quitting. And then come back for a little bit longer.

Looks like I need to vote Labour. I voted Lib Dems last time, but I'll tactically vote for anyone to oust Cruella Deville and her goons.

I'm Hertsmere too, think there's zero chance of it not returning Tory :(

It may have been Tory since 1983, but the least we can do is try.

How bloody dare any elected member of parliament ever threaten the possibility of voting against a "deal" that nobody has seen and that doesn't exist yet. Labour, Lib Dems and the SNP ought to agree to absolutely everything in advance. We voted for freedom not for MPs and their party to vote how they want!

The left demonises anybody that it disagrees with! Gary Linekar dodges tax!

Laughable.

I sometimes wish the owner of the Mail (very much a 'let them get on with it' type) would keep Dacre on a leash. The paper has basically turned into his own personal Gotten To rant column.

In the weekly 'it's all the BBC's fault' segment, Corbyn's climate change denying brother, Piers, has gone off on one, telling The Telegraph:

The BBC is evil and they will carry on being evil. At every opportunity they criticise him (Jeremy).

Why? The BBC have never been so biased against any party leader as now. That is because Jeremy stands for something different.

Jeremy Corbyn stands against the globalist elitist establishment and the BBC has been in the past and in the present.

'The BBC had been involved in the cover-ups of Hillsborough and at Orgreave, where police and miners clashed.'

Look at paedophilia and the cover-up of Jimmy Savile.

He was last seen on BBC This Week a few years ago saying climate change is a hoax.

You can't choose your family...so naturally Jeremy will be campaigning with him.

"Saboteurs" though.

As predicted getting in there nice and early when the Utopia of Brexit promised didn't materialised.
