RIP Tom Wilkinson. It's amazing how much quality British and Irish acting talent they crammed into Batman Begins. Morgan Freeman is basically the only American in it.
I looked this up through IMDb and Wikipedia just to see what the situation was with BB, and you’re right enough - Katie Holmes and Morgan Freeman are the only Americans in the principle cast. There’s a US national born in Wales (Richard Brake, who you might know from Doom or the music video for Knights of Cydonia), another one featured (fella called Mark Boone Jr) and the kids who play young Bruce and young Katie Holmes are American, and that is
it. An impressive feat.
Really sad about Tom Wilkinson as well, I don’t really remember the Full Monty but Rush Hour was a favourite of mine as a kid and he was great in that.
