Turboman, Mockmaster, Satriales and Drumstick remain in the game from the original 38 players. They have now survived seven challenges - if they can survive TWO more they will win the title!

Turboman - you have now held on to the Advantage two times running, you must now select the next Disadvantage.

They keys are all muddled, so it's a disadvantage. I didn't have much to work with. :shifty:

:D
That's a nice relief, didn't have much of an advantage this round as everyone but Joer submitted two/four pictures of the same thing. Think he would have gone through if he'd done the same because his other image was quite good.

For the next round i pick
Mockmaster
as the disadvantage.

MOCKMASTER - it has taken seven challenges, but after starting the whole game with 'The Advantage' you are now THE DISADVANTAGE.

I had one idea for the pictures, and didn't have time to come up with something else before I left for work so I did one and just took a picture of something in my house so I didn't get disqualified for only submitting one picture. I didn't think of taking a picture of the same thin twice!

CHALLENGE 8 - PASSWORD

Image

Four competitors remain, and we are mere inches away from the final showdown....'The Advantage' vs 'The Disadvantage'.....DAVID vs GOLIATH. However, what we don't know is the identity of the two players who will be taking on those roles in that final round. All that is stopping you guys reaching the next round is a PASSWORD. If you can tell me the password, you will be through to the next round and you will compete for the crown of Advantage Champion 2012! The first player to PM me the password will gain 'The Advantage' in the final showdown, and the player that finishes SECOND will gain 'The Disadvantage'. The other two players will be eliminated.

Below is a puzzle that over the coming days is going to be slowly revealed. You simply have to work out the password before anyone else. Credit for this goes out to the wonderful gameshow site 'Bothers Bar' who themselves nicked this game from 'Lucky Ladders' if you are old (and sad enough in my case) to remember the awful knitted cardigans on that. It is a game of simple word association. At the top of the ladder is one word, at the bottom is another. In the middle is the PASSWORD which you need to work out. The words are inbetween are connected to the words around them to make well known WORDS or PHRASES. They are also in order, so for instance WHALE might be below BLUE to make BLUE WHALE, whilst EGG might be above BOX to make EGG BOX. All the words are in the right order reading DOWN the board to make coherent pairs of words that work together.

As the sands of time pass, I will reveal a new letter to one of the words at random. I will reveal them in order from left to right (so first letter of each word first) and you may submit one guess via PM EVERY time I post up a letter if you so wish. I don't need to know your workings, I simply want to know the PASSWORD. Name it, and you are instantly through!

Here is the puzzle!

SHIRT

1.

2.

3.

4.

PASSWORD - ???

5.

6.

7.

8.

RABBIT

For Turboman 'The Advantage'...

He will recieve five random letters headstart on the rest of you. I will PM these letters SHORTLY and these will be random. They will in time get randomly revealed to everyone else TOO, but for a fair while this is information only the Advantage will have access to.

For The Average Joes -

You will recieve TWO letters headstart on the Disadvantage PM'ed to yourself. The letters will be random and may or may not be the same ones as 'The Advantage' - but WILL be the same as each other.

For Mockmaster -

Sorry dude....the only letters you get are the ones revealed in the thread. :(

The first TWO players to get the password to me via PM will gain 'The Advantage' and 'The Disadvantage' respectively! Good luck!

Do the words have to work together in a phrase, or can they just be related?
For example instead of Egg Box, if 'Egg' was the word could 'Chicken' be an answer?

The words all link together properly in this instance to make words or phrases so no Egg - Chicken would not be possible in MY version.
So for instance you could have BUNNY - RABBIT but not CARROT - RABBIT. This is not simple word association, its words that work together as well known words or phrases.
