Been meaning to make this thread for a while. Here's the place for all advert related discussion.

I'll start with this one, which has been reducing me to fits of giggles every time it comes on TV:-

There are loads of classic videogame adverts which are just cringeworthy. I can't be bothered to scour youtube for them all as you've likely seen them anyway, but here is an example.

I've noticed this one a lot recently.

And it's ace.

I really like the adverts for those Natural Sweets.

I really don't like the babies laughing one. All they've done is stolen it from the original youtube video. No originality at all. x

Hiscox make fantastic adverts, great photography, good colours, and with a voiceover that isn't condescending or annoying like every other advertisement there is.

Superstitious

Certainty

They seem to have finally changed this ridiculous advert, but the new version still annoys me because it reminds me of this one:

0:17 - Big enough for... ten?

(Brains Advert)

I love that advert, The concept, the tagline and the character they've used really helps to connote the meaning the company had behind it. Of course, if you never actually saw Thunderbirds you wouldn't know that was brains and you wouldn't get the full understanding of the advert, but if you have, it's brilliant.

Just watched that one a few minutes ago, and when she noticed my scowl, my girlfriend chose to tell me that her assistant at work (who I quite like) has that song as her mobile ring tune.

It's awful when you like someone and then you just have to cut all ties.

:D I love that advert. I'm going to try and introduce "Bring on the trumpets!" as a standard conversational gambit.

I saw that one the first time yesterday. It really made me stop in mid conversation to watch, just for the sheer WTF factor. Awful ad.

No, it can't be. It passed the agency, and doesn't say anything against anyone - it was on TV for ages with no complaints as well.

Plus, the guy might have that accent. You never know!

Jesus, is that an actual puppet? That must take some serious skill to pull off.
