I used to get loads of stuff in their 70% off sales as RRP was too high imo, clothes very comfy and look nice and casual. I've been wanting a new Flex Fleece Zip Hoodie from them for ages as the H&M or Topman ones etc just don't look or feel as good!

Most of the clothing is not made in the USA now which has brought prices down.

holy gooseberry fool yes - all my tees are from them and i was worried going out of business id have to find new ones.
saying that the ones i bought 5/6 years ago are all still 100% so i dont need anything

Love the clothes. Hate their sizing. Men's seem to be alright but strawberry float off am I an extra large at a 10-12? Who even buys the xxs stuff? 5 year olds?

I had a look around American Apparel before they closed, but i didn't like anything in there (plus i found them really pricey).

Lately i've been stocking up on summer t shirts from Uniqlo, they have a great range this year, especially the Karakami designs...

I also got a couple which feature Japanese block art designs (Hokusai blue series), but they don't seem to be on the website at the moment.

I find uniqlo cuts unflattering and I dont like their quality, barely survives a few washes.

American Apparel is pretty cool though, if historically expensive.

Yeah, never couldn’t get on with Uniqlo tshirt cut.

Funnily enough, i've found uniqlo tees to be better quality than the ones i was buying from Topman & River Island, the sizing is better too.

I'm currently wearing one i bought last summer and it's still in good condition.

Topman tees are the absolute worst, would never buy them again.

Wow good to see that it isn’t just me who’s pleased with AA being back. Have to admit I was getting worried that I was going to have to replace my AA hoodies with something else. As I wear mine nearly everyday and they are losing their colour slightly. Phew lol
Also can finally treat myself to another one of their 3/4 raglan sweats although my old ones are still in great condition.

I agree they are pricey but the hoodie has gone down by £10 now that they aren’t exclusively made in the USA.

O yeah no idea who buys XS or XXS sizes I’m always inbetween S and M.

I like uniqlo too but rarely get the chance to shop there as they only have stores in London. Not sure about buying online incase it doesn’t fit.
Their selvage denim jeans look awesome though and only £39.99.

It's not just London anymore, as there is now also a branch in Oxford.

I'm hoping they might eventually open stores elsewhere too.

i dont think £12/16 is expensive for a tshirt thats going to last you literally years, like i said some of mine from 2011 are still absolutely fine.

every time i walked (havent been for years) in River Island and Topman the quality on everything was absolutely horrific.

I remember they used to have a store in Manchester but ended up closing it down. Maybe this is a sign of them expanding again.

nothing that exciting - i got all the colours of the 50/50 tshirt that i didnt yet have
apart from the neon yellow - no chance am i wearing that
