Bunni wrote:For socks perhaps. But who needs 12 watches? You’d be better off dropping £900 on a great quality lifetime investment piece.

But you seem to have absurd amounts of cash somehow so just go for it. It’ll be entertaining for us.

I really don't. Well not anymore since I moved out to live on my own. I actually had to calculate my income and outcomes to see how much I can budget per week  it is so stressful!

Like the other day I was about to order a nice shirt and jacket in the sale from apc.fr but then realised that I actually couldn't afford it :fp:
I also want to remap my car to get an extra 30HP or so but again thats on hold now until I can spare £300. ahh thats life I suppose.

Whats everyone's opinion on brogues? I find them so ugly but feel like as a man I need to own a pair. Found these in the sale:
https://www.johnlewis.com/rockport-mads ... 023?size=7

I normally get Derby shoes (not Oxford). I just like the simple, smart and elegant look of them. Whereas the pattern on brogues isn't plain enough for me. What type of leather shoes do you guys (or gals like on a guy) like?

Also people at work have been watching Queer Eye on Netflix. Just saw a couple of eps and its pretty good. 5 gay guys go around giving people a whole life makeover - fashion, grooming, diet, life and their homes.

That’s more like it. A reasonable price for an everyday shoe that’s better quality than Topman. You’re learning!

In other news, Harrods have refunded my order of Jimmy Choos because they’re now out of stock. Gutted.

Thanks hehe I haven't tried Topman or River Island leather shoes before. Use to get Hush Puppies but moving onto Rockport now when the sale is on.

They were £550 down to £330 and investment shoes. A reward to myself for working hard. They’re lifetime shoes. And beautiful. But very much a treat rather than everyday spends.

Nice one! You deserve it! I like a good investment piece every now and again.
The last investment piece I got was my Burberry camel colour classic check scarf. Served me well over the winter and stood out in the office amongst the sea of regular scarfs lol

If you keep your eyes peeled in a sale you could get an entry level Tag Heuer for £900. Hell, buy a Citizen rather than blowing your money on 12 watches.

I think the check pattern is hard to pull off without the rest of the outfit being high end otherwise it just looks like some chav knock off. However I would like to be able to buy a Burberry trench coat at some point in my life as they’re so versitile and would last for many years so are worth the £800 tag.

Yeah think I prefer one really nice watch over 12 normal watches. I currently have an Omega seamaster which I really like.

I see what you mean. Well I mostly wear it to work in the winter so usually have a nice shirt and smart trousers on. You can definitely tell the difference between a chav knockoff though. As the real ones are 100% cashmere and the check has slightly faded/brushed look making them look very cosy. I even went for the camel colour which is the original. If I had got green, navy or black then maybe it would be easier to pull off.

Yeah I really want a trench coat from them too. I've noticed the prices have gone right up over the years though. But you can get one for maybe £6-700 in the seasonal sale. There is also a massive Burberry outlet in Hackney which is worth a visit.

This making off video is pretty interesting:

I have a Burberry shirt that I never wear.

Once found a trench coat in a charity shop for about £40.

You should wear it. What does it look like?

Yes you can sometimes get old/vintage Burberry stuff at charity shops. But not the size or style you may want.

Got a second hand £40 job it’d probably be worth paying for alterations.

It's the classic beige, red, black, white Tartan stitch, a dinner shirt, quite thick.

Maybe it's time? I have no idea lol.

I'll try to find it. Hopefully it hasn't been eaten by moths.

Cool looking forward to seeing it.

Was looking at some sneakers today and have my eyes set on these two. Will have to save up before I splash on either pair though
