Does it come with t he beard. Not a bad jacket though if you can pull off the look. I'd look like a Geography teacher in it though.

Seen these beautiful trainers on a blog this morning. They'd be perfect for work since I'm desperately needing a new pair for work but am struggling to find something awesome enough to spend 12 hours a day in.

Only available in the US and no international shipping.

Have you considered one of the carriage companies that will let you deliver it to them in the US and then they forward it to you?

Possibly, but that would almost make them unaffordable.

How much are the shoes?

I just did a US forwarding calculator and it comes out at £25, with estimates on the high side for weight and dimensions.

Solid choice, Bunni. I love my NBs, so comfy for everyday wear and on the rare occasions I have to run somewhere they're pretty good for that too.

Falsey, most places you look (over here at least) they tend to run around the £65 mark.

Got my eye on these two at the moment:

Depends which pair I went for, really. Think along these lines:

Pair #1

Pair #2:

I do love my River Island jeans.

I agree with Falsey, TBH. I'd tend to go Adidas every time for fashion trainers. Maybe Fly or Onitsuka for a change.

I just think those NBs you posted could look a bit clumsy.

Well, thanks for the advice. Haven't bought a pair of Adidas in a while, though the last pair I had lasted ages and were dead comfy. I'm looking to use the shoes to add a bit of colour to my wardrobe though as I tend to wear a lot of plain black stuff. What's the consensus on Gazelles nowadays? Are they okay for the layman or still reserved for blokes who wear Fred Perry and Stone Island and go looking for trouble after the football?

Im not allied to any particular brand. I have a few pairs of Converse, I like my Tigers for driving, got some Reeboks, Addidas, Pumas. Whatever I feel fits the vibe best.

I think they are fine. Just depends what colour you get and what you wear them with. If you have a footie shirt on and some white ones then you are probably going stabbing. If you have a shirt and some brown ones then totally different.

Yeah, I see it a lot on Wavey Garms nowadays. Couldn't think of another 'casual' brand though.. Which is the one with the goggle coats? Aquascutum?

Including forwarding here they're about £70 all in. They're lovely, but if I can't afford to drop that on actual running trainers, I sure as hell won't be spending that much on casuals. Hopefully they'll be in sale come December and I'll go pick them up from New York myself. :slol:

Add a third in for the disliking NBs crowd.

I don't especially go for one brand, but I find that I favour a group of shoe companies; Adidas, Converse, Vans, Puma and Nike for running. Was able to grab Converse for $40 in the states and a cracking pair of running shoes that fit like a glove* for $60.

*This wasn't a good thing. They had finger spaces.
