Strange tournament this year. Lot of unfancied players have gone through. Looked like Ronnie was going to have one of his moments where he just loses interest but he got it together in those last two frames there.

Ding looks good at the moment. Him or O Sullivan for me.

Used to love watching this back in the hendry/ white era and even beyond when rocket ronnie came on to the scene, but it just isn't as good as it used to be.

Will try and catch the latter stages and just want the most entertaining, risk taker to win this year.

Some of the potting in this Davies/Bingham match is bang average.

Seems to me that the game is the same as ever but there's certainly something off with the players (aside from Ronnie) and the way the season is setup.

They play and travel too much i think. Selby looked really jaded.

Snooker!

Couple of players have looked a bit off this week but a few of the usual lot are still in it. I reckon it'll be between Murphy, Ding and O'Sullivan. Maybe Trump.

Would quite like Ding to win, actually.

Same. Been a fan of his the past few years and he was on great form today.

Ronnie is looking fresh and relaxed. He has this tournament in the bag provided he can hold himself together! Mind you, I suppose that's always the case with him! No disrespect to Bingham but he really shouldn't cause a problem.

The Murphy/Trump game should be great though! Got a sneaky feeling Murphy might sneak it.

As for Ding, well, he's far and away the most talented player left on that side of the draw so he should get to the final without too much trouble but he seems to have the same sort of consistency issues as Ronnie!

Good start from Murphy. Trump looks a bit out of sorts.

Trump relies so much on his spectacular potting that if he's having an off day he starts to look pretty average.

Murphy's really schooling him right now.

Trump doesn't have his usual luck today it seems.

And how did the 7-1 happen Mr Bingham?
"Ronnie happened"

Yeah. Murphy has missed some very easy pots. He's needed a few chances in most of the frames.

Hopefully a bit better this evening! I was looking forward to that match.

Ronnie basically through to the semis already I see.

Trump did well last night to level the match with Murphy. Much better session.

Looks as though Ding has let the pressure get to him again. :( If he plays his best there's no way Barry Hawkins should be beating him.
