Gwen Stacy was before MJ in the comics timelines.

Until she took the plunge, and things between her and Peter snapped.

Seeing it on Wednesday. Not been expecting it to be great, but have been slightly hyped recently. Hopefully there will be enough 2D showings.

LOL

Hopefully going at some point this week, and I'm willing to bet I'll see it multiple times before it goes out of the cinema. I won't be seeing it in 3D though, because like strawberry float am I watching a Spider-Man film with a dull picture.

I'd like to see Sony try and build to a Sinister Six movie. It would very probably be a total clusterfuck but it'd be very cool if it worked.

Hoping there's some sequel-bait dangled towards the end of this, I love me some sequel bait.

Going to see it on Wednesday. I wasn't really bothered about it, but the last few trailers have me pretty excited. I'll be absolutely shocked if this isn't better than Spider-Man 3 and possibly 1 as well.

I just wish Marvel could get the movie rights to this and everything else they sold off back, but that obviously won't happen for a long time.

Didn't Marvel sell the rights due to the fact they were almost bankrupt?

Did DC do the same thing?

Yep. Sony have to keep pumping out Spiderman films or the rights revert to Marvel.

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be able to understand it.

The problem I had with the other films was Tobey Maguire. I just didn't believe him as a high school kid etc. Really chapped my ass seeing him up there.

I think it's good that we'll get to see Peter do some actual scientific work in this one, building the web shooters etc, as we really didn't see any of that in the Raimi films, but he appeared to be quite handy with a sewing machine.

There is a post credits scene setting up the sequel apparently. No Nick Fury though like some rumours :slol:

Also apparently the Stan Lee cameo in this is the best one yet

Wonder if the main theme will be as good. I loved it in the first three films.
