I have to say I stalled after a few eps. Ecchi isn't really my thing and his awful friends just aren't funny IMO (the fat one :dread: ). Have you seen Oshiete! Galko-chan? It has a similar aesthetic but I found it far funnier and far less cringey -- it's actually one of my favourite shorts.

From this season I've been really enjoying Tsurezure Children, Aho-Girl and Gamers!. They're all great but in particular Gamers! is a really entertaining misunderstanding-based romcom that kind of subverts your expectations, if you haven't seen it you should check it out! :toot:

I've never even read Berserk but even I know about the hiatuses. It's like the Duke Nukem of Manga.

Oh I watched Galko. This is a different take on the Gal angle though which I appreciate.

Fair. Do you use any sites to keep track of what you're watching by the way? I'd be interested in stalking you if you do (no creepo). :P

I can PM you my MAL if you use that, I don't use the social side of it at all but I find keeping the list updated strangely satisfying ( ).

I used to keep a MAL, but I haven't updated it in forever. :dread:

So are there any torrent sites that still work?

I want to try watching that Gal show but it looks like Tokyo tosho is down and I know Nyann torrents also doesn't work anymore.

Also what torrent client do you guys use? I've heard uTorrent is now crap and filled with adware/bitcoin miners

Not only have Portugal turned Keijo into a real sport, they've got Haribo signed up as an official sponsor.

Mini Ys8 spoiler:

S: Neither was the last one. It was a robbery. M: Really? S: Yeah. She stole my heart. And my crown. (❍ᴥ❍ʋ)

One Punch Man season 2 is apparently being done by a different studio (J.C.Staff) and director (Chikara Sakurai). I hope it doesn't result in a step-down in terms of quality, especially considering how good some of the post-Boros content is.

Does it have to be torrents?

https://animekaizoku.com <where I recently nabbed MHA.
https://www.reddit.com/r/megalinks/ <you'll need to download Mega.
http://kissanime.ru <good streaming site. Watched Berserk films + OPM on it without issue.

Some more details here. Maybe not as bad as I had initially feared but the first season set the bar quite high so it could easily disappoint some fans.

Not seen a release date so far but I'd imagine Spring next year at the earliest.

Good lord, the feels from the season finale of Made in Abyss... I've read the manga and knew what was coming yet it still got to me.

In slightly happier news, Boku no Hero Academia has been confirmed for a 3rd season and it should comfortably eclipse the mighty season 2.

How depressing/melodramatic is Made in Abyss? I'm really interested in the concept but I don't tend to get along with shows that are too relentless with their drama. Do you think it's worth me giving it a go or will it be too much for me?

Yeah I'd say you'd probably enjoy the vast majority of it. It's a very charming series with some wonderful characters (one of whom I absolutely adore  ) and although it does have it's sad/tragic moments it's also full of happier times with the main characters childish wonder of the world. The animation and backgrounds are also beautiful, it's like they've animated an old fairy tail.
