Started watching Darling in the FranXX; about to start episode 3. Enjoying it a lot but wow, this is a super horny show.

Great visuals and soundtrack all around though. OP and ED are fantastic.

So that's what that's called. I saw a few pictures of the female lead but never heard the name of the show.

One Punch Man is getting a second season and it was expected this year. I don't think a date has been set yet, although it is worth noting that the production switched to a different studio so we can't be sure of the same quality.

A few Mob Psycho 100 projects were announced late last year but I don't think a second season has been confirmed yet - I hope that the manga recently ending doesn't work against a second season. A 60 minute OVA is due to be released on the 18th of March which should be pretty good. There is also a live-action series on Netflix in some regions.

:toot: :D Unexpected Sunday bonus! Got a bunch deliveries, one of which is Rurouni Kenshin vol 1! I can finally start reading my first manga series! (Condition is a bit ratty and so I'll eventually replace it, but it'll do for now.)

Watched Godzilla on Netflix. Lovely animation, but the story dragged it heels somewhat.

Also watched a couple of episodes of Seraph of the End. Seems quite good so far.

Noticed there's a Chrome extension VPN thing for Crunchyroll that unblocks the US content :toot:

Boku no Hero Academia Season 3 is apparently 25 episodes!

Judging from that and the pacing of the first two seasons I'm expecting it to end around chapter 120-121 with a tease of what's to come.

Couldn't think where else to post this as it doesn't deserve it's own thread.

I have some family visiting from Canada in a couple of weeks and one of the young'uns is into Japanese stuff, anime, manga and the like. Is there anything in London anyone here has been to that might be of interest to someone like this. They're pretty cheap so anything free or not too pricey would be really good.

Cheers

There used to be a TokyoToys in the Trocadero, but it closed down a couple of years ago. Next best thing I can think of would be Chinatown.

If you want cheap then it's going to be a struggle, but a fun place to go to as a nerd is forbidden planet. There's also Gosh in Soho.

Started watching Fullmetal Alchemist yesterday and it seems fairly decent so far.

Only seen four episodes though do don't know if it retains this level of quality.

I'd highly recommend making sure it's the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood version you're watching. It's an almost perfect adaptation of the manga and the quality is great throughout.

Its not, should I switch to that version?

What's the major difference between the two?

The original series was running alongside the manga and eventually outpaced it. Instead of dropping filler it just branched off to its own thing.

It's not bad, it's just kind of dumb since plot points that are up in the air are just guessed at.

Brotherhood follows the manga and so has the time to explore the points properly, introduce more characters to explain things and is generally a more solid experience.

I could never bring myself to watch Brotherhood. The movie, Conqueror of Shambala was just so bad I never went back to the series.

I'm watching the second season of Himouto, it's pretty good.

Just seen ep4 of Brotherhood, that was surprisingly dark.

Especially the end bit.
