Just downloaded the first ep and gave it a go and it's working for me. Which media player are you playing it on? Could just be you might need to switch on the subtitles on manually. Or it could be that you might need the right codecs to play it. I recommend CCCP and Media Player Classic for all playback. (I think MPC is included with CCCP's installation anyway)

Edit: Argh! I want to watch Samurai Champloo again now!

Ah, forgot about turning the subtitles on :fp:

Thanks.

Yurrisan are now subbing Gintama as well as Rumbel as they have no Hitman Reborn to sub anymore thanks to C and D's. Hopefully we should never have any long delays. YS are aiming for two eps a week and rumbel are being speedy lately! In sad news D.Gray-man anime ends next week :( I hope it's only on a break.

Up to episode 20 of Welcome to the NHK.

I've been rather impressed, it really seemed to improve after episode 10, and there was alot of pretty funny things going on Have to say it's actually been quite enjoyable, and interesting a watch.

Plus Misaki is seriously cute.

5 Episodes into Champloo now and enjoying it :D

It's very much bebop, rape, brothels, swearing, brilliant fighting scenes.

That sounds dynamite Alpha, thanks again. :D

Conveniently enough, I finished Welcome to the NHK this morning as well. I actually really enjoyed the whole anime in the end, and would recommend it to anyone looking for some anime to watch?

I'll watch Densha next, thanks to Alpha. I'll then start on Eureka Seven.

Alpha - How many eps is Densha?

EDIT: Oh, and Misaki from NHK (L)(L)

There's 11 episodes, each about 45 mins long.

You 'should' have them in your post box today so keep an eye out.

I think the manga volumes do give some sort of ending. Buso Renkin was cancelled yet it's last volume wrapped things up. I'm not sure how Zombie Powder wraps up though, never tried it as I'm not a fan of Kubo.

Just finally finished watching Avatar, sat through three hours of it.

Although it's supposed to be a kids show, the ending was fantastic. I'm not sure who wrote it, but it was great.

The tour stops at 10 Japanese cities from the 21st of September to the 23rd of November -- so it's pretty close.

So I'm four episodes into Kino's Journey now. The third episode didn't quite click with me but I'm otherwise really enjoying it. The stories are modest yet very charming and with messages that are delivered very well. I've noticed quite a few people online criticizing the animation/character design, but I think there's a modest beauty to the anime that works for it.

Looking forward to seeing more, thanks to Mr Jeff for the recommendation!

I watched it when it was on TV once, better than most kids cartoon but still a bit meh. I can see why people love it so much though.
