I never watched the original so I feel I should watch that first, lest I miss some sort of major plot developments.

Yeah, better to watch Love Live! first. You'd follow the story of Sunshine!! fine, but you'll miss a lot of the jokes and all of the references to the original will be kinda confusing.

Ok, so I finished Love Live Sunshine. At first I didn't really take to the characters as much as I did with Muse, but I came to like them more and more as the series went on. Then... because it was only 13 episodes it suddenly got super rushed and just... ended.
I was extremely dissapointed with how they suddenly just ended it like that. It could've been so much better with more episodes.

Do you not reckon there'll be a second season of it, pal? I mean, they still have to actually go to the Love Live finals so I guess I didn't really parse it as 'ending' as such. Sounds like it was pretty popular in Japan (apart from E13, which I loved for being so ridiculous & therefore hilarious, but I guess most people didn't share that view...).

There probably will be, but annoying either way.

I didn't watch Working!!, maybe I'll catch up with it! The only thing I'm really hyped for this season is Hibike! 2, but I think Stella no Mahou could potentially be good.

Excellent. It's been close to a decade since I last watched the show. I also love how Netflix makes it easy to switch to the original audio.

Can anyone recommend a good comedy? I've just finished watching Nourin (which is awesome by the way, might be one of my favourites)
Here's some of the scenes...
