Some of the kids from the other classes and courses are great. Mei is a particular highlight.

You've got some really good episodes coming up.

I've always preferred reading manga, but lately I'm struggling to find new things to read and the few anime series I've been watching this season have now ended. Maybe now is the time to finally get back into Gintama or Kingdom after losing my place years ago.

Might be a stupid question but is the first episode of MHA S2 labelled as e14?

I've been trying to acquire S2 but I can't seem to find the whole series anywhere.

Yeah, they carried on with the episode numbers after season 1. 14-38 is what you want.

Jesus Christ, the most recent chapter of Boku no Hero Academia was so good. That last page tease is going to make the wait for next week almost unbearable.

Hype!

Only 5 episodes of season 2 left to watch now, its been mostly great so far and I've really enjoyed it.

Rather annoyingly the ones I'm watching have Spanish subs as default so I have to switch to English every time I start a new episode .

There's also a spinoff prequel of sorts which focuses on unlicensed vigilante heroes with a few cameos from the main cast and hints at future plot points. No word on that getting an anime, but it's only around 15 chapters so far and is fairly enjoyable.

A few characters in OPM and BnHA also share similar ideals/goals and it would be interesting to see how they would interact.

Oh maaaan! 11, 12 and half of 13 were teeense. And holy gooseberry fool at my failing to spot Naval Laser guy was missing for most of it  :fp:

Double the eps for season 2?! Yass!

And now back to the rest of ep 13 :slol: Took a break to calm tf down.

edit: what's the deal with that copper in the long coat? Seems kinda big for a regular cop...

Aoyama with the navel laser is amazing. Wait 'til you hear his hero name.

I assume you mean Tsukauchi - He's a close friend of All Might's and works with him/bends the rules to protect his secret.

I look forward to seeing your impressions of the Tournament arc, it's often regarded as one of the best in any anime or manga. It's also worth noting that a lot of the season 2 episodes feature substantial after-credit scenes that are worth watching.

Just got to that  "It's a sentence!"

Bakugo's had me in stitches.

I've been stopping every episode at the end credits, how many episodes have post credit scenes?

I've seen one post credits scene when I noticed there were several minutes remaining but didn't know this was a regular thing.

12 and 13 are the first two eps where I spotted them. Just quickly checked on the two eps before and both had only previews of next ep once credits were done.

I think the majority had a scene after the credits ranging from 10 seconds to a minute or two. They're not all important, but as the season progressed they became more important with character introductions and setup for future events.

I love Bakugou's OTT reactions to everything and his hero name choice.. You're also on the verge of some of the best episodes of the season. :datass:

I can't wait for to see the stuff in season 3 animated.

Anyone else think the guy with the fake hands on his face and neck is creepy as strawberry float?

The S2 finale whenhe grabs Midorya's throat and threatens to kill him was slightly uncomfortable viewing.

Yeah man, Shigaraki is a creepy guy.

S2 finale spoilers below - don't click, SoK!

The full reveal of his face was handled really well and that smile. :dread:

Similar to All might being drawn with a classic western comic style (Horikoshi is a massive geek for western culture) Shigaraki is often drawn in a super-detailed horror-inspired style to accentuate that creepiness.

Image

Horikoshi also has a bit of a hand fetish as he thinks hands are second to faces in terms of showing expression.

I've joined the hype train and have started watching my hero academia, I'm on episode 3 so far, and man those first two episodes really make me hate Deku (too much crying, but I guess it makes us see how much he cares about being a hero) and the explody guy. It seems to be getting good now though

Someone on GAF thought Deku was obnoxious. Blew my mind.

On to the last 3 eps of MHA S2 :( Currently in middle of ep 18.

The fight with Hero Killer was intense and his blood quirk was *creepy af*! :toot: I'm guessing his other quirk is a kind of uncontrollable AoE fear?

Hand crushing curse

Didn't think I'd ever feel sorry for him but I feel bad for Bakugo being left out of the fun.

Woof.

I believe Stain has just the one quirk. That scene was drawn out a bit longer in the anime and I think they went slightly overboard showing off his presence and bloodlust, it certainly did lead to confusion amongst the anime viewers.

I don't feel bad for Bakugou, he got a sweet new haircut and pair of skinny jeans thanks to #4 hero Best Jeanist.

Newest chapter of BnHA was well worth the wait. Deku sure is living up to his reputation as an absolute MADMAN.

I don't know how it managed it, but I think Dr. Stone really has taken over from BnHA and One Piece as my favourite weekly manga. Simply superb again and judging by its popularity it's very likely to get an anime.

:fp: at self. I thought ep 20 was final S2 ep of MHA. Turns out I have 5 more eps to go! :toot:

Gonna have to stream them, though, as place where I got 'em before had all its links nuked by MEGA. boo!

ep 20: I like comic relief Bakugo  but good to see him back to his old self for a split second.

I got the full season off Megalinks, they were subbed though and defaulted to spanish so had to manually change to English every episode.
