No idea how well it's seeded though.

Edit: Bit of googling came up with some ddl links: arf!
Only tested 1 to see if they're still active.

Edit 2: Edit your post while I'm replying eh! You fiend! I heartily recommend Densha Otoko. Ridiculously over the top but so very very funny, especially as most of you are fellow forums users. The books quite a good read too though a bit toned down since it has what *actually* happened.

I've just given the opening post an update, so I hope it looks a bit better rather than just having a post full of quotes. :D

I managed to get up to episode 80 in Naruto already. I can't believe I managed to watch so many episodes so quickly, but it was worth it since I enjoyed watching them. It's been three years or so since I last watched it so it was nice to catch up, and also watch some episodes I didn't manage to originally watch. I had only reached episode 52 or so. I think I'll leave Naruto for now since I was only watching it to catch up on the anime so I could play the game. I'm glad I did since the story in the game is a bit disjointed compared to the anime.

You still haven't put Love Hina in the recommended manga section :(

I find it quite funny that the games are ahead of our dvd releases story wise. The 360 Naruto game goes to episode 80 and the dvds are at 78 with the next 13 out Monday but then it's still behind the wii game which covers 100 episodes. It's quite stupid really.

I'm glad Naruto is back on track anime wise anyway, the two new villains are some of my favourite in the series and this arc in my opinion is when part 2 Naruto really begins to get as good as part 1.

It's added now! :)

I'll just leave it as Recommended Series just so there isn't as much in the OP and it'll be easier to update too.

Isn't the sequel to Rise of a Ninja due out towards the end of the year? That would mean the game would be even further ahead of the DVD releases depending on what's released by then.

Add FLCL and Gintama to ;)

The sequel will go up to episode 135 which will be ahead of dvd releases again. And no doubt when the new Naruto games come out next year they will be way way ahead as they wil be skipping the 80 plus episode batch of fillers. I think the sequel to Rise Of A Ninja should have the filler stories in for extra length.

Gintama's fantastic! I adore the fifth opening and closing theme songs for the anime counterpart!

Could I recommend Hunter x Hunter? It's a delightful series -- one that hasn't had the same exposure as One Piece or Naruto but is more than worthy to stand tier to tier with them. The anime is superbly executed, and the manga is spectacular -- although I would highly recommend purchasing the volumes rather than reading the chapters online.

The guy always being on hiatus for Hunter X Hunter is a pain, I think he should just come up with a way to wrap it up and do it in one go rather than a couple of chapters every siz months.

FLCL was already up there, but Gintama is now up there along with Hunter X Hunter!

Only episode 135? That's less episodes compared to the first game, but I'm assuming more happens then (I wouldn't know since I'm not there yet)?

Missed FLCL, was looking at Xeno's list for some reason.

A lot happens in between episodes 80 and 135 I can assure you though if the story just follows Naruto again it might skim some of the more exciting moments. I hated how they skipped Orochimaru vs the Third in the last game, it should have been playable!

My password is Rodriguez.

Sample of Gintama humour for anyone interested.

If we're adding recommendations for the front page I'd like to add Sword of the Stranger as a movie watch and Yotsubato and Berserk as essential manga reads. Oh and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann for series recommendation since it deserves it.

Off to watch Gintama 71. Toodle pip!

I liked that. Hopefully I can manage to watch it at some point soon.

Also, I've added in your suggestions, Jeff. :D

Still going through Welcome to the NHK.

It's.....ok......I'm gunna stick it through to the end, I can't really there where they're going at the moment though.

Nothing I've watched touches Death Note or Avatar yet though.

Seriously, more people need to try Avatar, I know it looks pretty kiddy, but it's absolutely epic. Just 60 eps as well.

I think Eureka Seven should be your next :P. It's astonishingly good quality.

I've just been rereading the current arc of One Piece. Kizuri is possibly one of my favourite character designs in the whole thing!

I've seen bits and bobs of it but I shall watch the whole thing. Everytime I see Avatar though it reminds me of Norbu.
