It suits the wanky naff contestants. Alex was my favourite to hate last year.

Such a tool, probably should have won though.

I've only ever watched The Apprentice occasionally but whenever I saw it he would always be there, being a prick.

The last series was the first one I watched and it was great to watch, mainly due to these "intelligent" people strawberry floating up so much.

I've watched every series so far, Just can't get enough of the show.

It's great seeing these people who think they know everything, ripped to shreads by Sir Alan. It's fantastic some of the challenges they do as well. Looking forward to this series too.

The Apprentice classes as a Reality show, doesn't it? Normally I can't stand the things, but I always get so hyped for The Apprentice- it's the only show me and the family sit down together each week to watch live. With bags of sweets, no less.

Then again, very few other reality shows contain interesting discussion points about the virtues and vices of capitalism, so I guess it can qualify as acceptable viewing.

Series Five of The Apprentice is a British reality television series due to begin airing on BBC One on March 25, 2009. The series will run for twelve weekly hour-long episodes, as in all previous years. Auditions and interviews for potential candidates took place during July 2008 in London, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham.

Sir Alan Sugar, Nick Hewer and Margaret Mountford will be appearing, as in all previous series. Spin-off show The Apprentice: You're Fired! will also return, with filming of the first episode due to take place on March 23, 2009.

The team names for this series are Empire and Ignite

Week 1
Task: To start up a car cleaning company. The team that makes the most profit wins

So excited. Hopefully can convince Aaron to do the 360 voice chat at same time (others welcome)

8-)

Yeah, that was awesome when we did that for the last series (or was it two series ago?)

Unfortunately I don't htink I can - UNLESS there's a way I can watch it live on the internet, and Skype at the same time?

New series. Alan Sugar invites a fresh intake of aspiring tycoons to take part in the 12-week job interview for his new apprentice. For their first task, the candidates are split into male and female teams and told to set up rival cleaning companies. The winners get to relax in the contestants' luxury penthouse suite, while the losers face the music in the boardroom, where one of them comes into Sir Alan's firing line

I can't stand it anymore. Far too many times they keep somebody who is inept just because they entertaining. It ruins the whole premise of the show.

That was more obvious than ever last year - but I remember seeing lots in the "reviews" about it. So maybe they'll tone it down.

Aaron - I don't think you can :(

Yeah mayne, to me The Apprentice is basically the best show on tv mayne, it's the only show I try to make sure I'm at home to watch. I think Ima try to apply to get on it for next year as well.

The best episode was from Series 3 when they were all at some shopping channel & Simon was screwing the legs onto the trampoline right in front of his crotch.
