Since season 7 (?) the winners aren't employed by Sugar, he invests 50:50 in their business idea. None of the winners who did get employed work for him any more.

I'm hoping the first episode will see Lord Sugar admitting that he has already picked the winner based on their business plan, and he just cuts everyone's losses.

I will still be watching it and resenting every single painful second.
