Official Singles / Albums Chart Update
Source: OCC

1 The Beatles - Now and Then (39,733)
2 Cassö, Raye & D-Block Europe - Prada (11,990)
3 Taylor Swift - Is It Over Now? (10,689)
4 Tate McRae - Greedy (9,948)
5 Tyla - Water (9,099)

Midweek charts suggest that The Beatles will easily be number 1 on Friday.

I know it's usually all about streaming (I'd imagine The Beatles are up there mostly via physical though) and that this is only half of the week, but it's shocking just how few "sales" you need to get into the top 5.

We should make a GRcade song and all stream the gooseberry fool out of it. I reckon we could get into the top 100 (just behind Mr Brightside).

The only other person I've heard of in that top 5 is Taylor swift. 9 thousand sales to get a top 5 single :fp:

I think it's 100 streams = 1 sale. So you'd need about 900k-1m streams to get into the top 5 (midweek).

That might be just beyond the power of GRcade.

The top 100 (again midweek) albums should cheer Ad7 up. Old people like him love a bit of Cliff.

Top 100 Albums

1 Oasis - The Masterplan
2 Taylor Swift - 1989 (Taylor's Version)
3 Jung Kook - Golden
4 Cliff Richard - Cliff With Strings - My Kinda Life
5 The Rolling Stones - Hackney Diamonds
6 Johnny Marr - Spirit Power: The Best Of Johnny Marr
7 Caroline Polachek - Desire, I Want To Turn Into You
9 Van Morrison - Accentuate The Positive
10 Elton John - Diamonds

Feels like we're half the world away from when the charts were dominated by albums as good as that

Steady on, they are international and pretty bright, but it's been a long time since they were young things.

This is genuinely brilliant

A nice footnote to their story.
