I ordered the DS Animal Crossing from America, it was £40 including postage... it was late coming so I contacted the company selling it me and they apologised and said theyd send me another copy and to pick a second game from a short list of games, so I choose Nintendogs. Animal Crossing and Nintendogs arrived really quickly, then 2 weeks later the original ordered copy turned up and when I contacted them they said to keep it.... so basically I got a copy of Animal Crossing and a copy of Nintendogs for free..

Then there was the 10 N64 carts I got free of someone at work, I was there boss and I had supported them during a tough time and they gave me them as a thank you. i cant remember which carts they all were but I know there was Turok 1,2 ,3 and Turok Rage Wars in there.

Another I remember is a Friend accidentally got sent 2 copies of Star Wars Galaxies and he gave me one of them as he said he didn't know what to do with it and would love it if I would have the game and play it with him.

They are the ones that instantly jump into my mind.

I won my first Playstation. I'm not sure if we are counting competitions though?

Also used to get sent review copies of games for free, which was pretty neat.

Had a work volunteering day recently, where I got paid to take photos of wildlife for the day. Better than free?

Got given a dehumidifier by a friendly neighbour at an old place.

Got given a cat and furniture by some friends I met at work.

Next door gave me old curtains and blinds for free and dropped some strawberries over the other day.

The desk I am sat at was given to me for free by an old housemate.

Recieved a wireless charger for free from a company I bought something from.

Received a grands worth of free shares from work last year.

But best of all, I get to talk to you sexy people for free.

I got an air con unit (standalone one that you stick a pipe out the window) from one of my Dad's friends a few years ago as they were shutting their office and no longer needed it. Easily saved me on multiple occasions.

I won 2 tickets to the final episode of Game of Thrones in Cardiff 4 years ago. Free bar all night and a smashing banquet. I was strawberry floated out of my skull and drank the thick end of a litre of Johnny Walker.
Free.

The PC desk I used for nearly 15 years was reclaimed from an office in the hospital my dad worked at, they had a massive refurb and were going to throw it in a skip.

It was solidly built and just needed cleaning up a bit, certainty better than the Ikea one I currently have.

Also, one of my older cousins gave me their tabletop Pacman(Munchman) game, which over 30 years later still works, will be passing it down to my nephew once he's old enough to play it.
