Was going to download this on my Vita earlier but now showing as £11.99. Wasn't this free on PSN+?

It was and its cross buy too.

That means the store is still shagged as not showing purchases properly.

I may be wrong but I think if you only purchased the PS4 PS+ version it did not automatically add the Vita version to your list. You had to it manually for some reason.

Page one of this thread: according to Delusi, Vita version was free at same time as PS4 version but the game is not cross-buy. (cross-save yes, cross-buy no)

edit: checked online and it isn't cross-buy.

I've been playing this almost every time I turn my Playstation on. Unlocked a lot of the content and it still feels like there's loads I've yet to discover. Easily my favourite game over the past year or so and probably the most addictive game I've played full stop.

My only real gripe is the fact that quite a few trophies I should have haven't popped. Off the top of my head killing Mom's Heart 9 times (I've got 10 and 11), beat the Caves without taking damage, a couple of the "beat x with y" ones and I think beating the Depths 20 times. Seems to be a fairly common problem after taking a look online, but I was wondering if there was any real way around it. Will these trophies ever pop? Just now I beat the Caves without taking damage twice with Azazel in normal, non-seed runs and it failed to unlock both times. Just a bit annoying when it's one of the few games I actually feel some sort of achievement in gaining the... achievements.

Also, I was wondering how everyone else plays the game. Do you clear every room on the floor, or head straight for the boss and plough through it at top speed? Stick to a favourite character or mix it up each time? I haven't had a game capture me this much for a long long time, fantastic piece of work. The coolest thing is I can't see myself putting it down any time soon.

Exploring everything is optimal, unless you're going for a speed run. There are so many advantages to be found in any given room that it's silly not to look for them. I pretty much always play as Issac unless I'm doing something character-specific, as the D6 is such a massive advantage.

I still have a few items and secrets to find. Oh, and beating hard mode with every character. Then I guess it's The Lost... :dread:

Yeah, I always explore every room too. When both my cousin and friend had a few go's they just headed straight for the boss without bothering to look around at all. I'm still yet to beat the Cathedral and Sheol etc with all characters so I'm just picking and choosing each time.

I'm yet to actually play on hard mode yet, does it unlock more content? Think I'll save that until I'm pretty much done with everything on normal.

I unlocked the Golden God trophy last night and have no idea why. :lol:

So Edmund McMillan put a link to the following up on his twitter and his Isaac tumblr saying that the following video captured a lot of his intent with the story for the Binding of Isaac. Obviously it contains a lot of spoilers so don't watch it if you haven't completed the game and want to see the endings on your own.

Also made it to Mega Satan after collecting both key parts. Had no idea how to get them and worked it out by accident after I blew up the angel in an Angel room as I was attempting to put out a couple of blue fires. :lol:

Didn't beat it though. I must have had some item that made me teleport out of the room every time I got hit (unless it's a feature of the room?) so I kept having to restart the battle with 1 less heart.

Is there anything else to do after this? In terms of a further boss. Still haven't touched hard mode, got all the endings, secrets and items, or defeated all the bosses with every character. I feel like I should be playing something different but I can't stay away!

Sounds like you had the Cursed Skull trinket, one of the worst trinkets in the game. I think there's an item that does something similar too, but I can't remember what it is. But yes, it was something you had rather than a feature of the room.

) there are a few "uber secrets", one of which [DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND SPOILING A SECRET THAT YOU'RE ONLY EVER GOING TO COME ACROSS BY READING UP ON IT ANYWAY] is unlocking The Lost, a character that dies in one hit. There's a really convoluted set of things you have to do in which to unlock it though - it's not something you'd ever piece together yourself.

Mmm, it wasn't that I had. I know what most of the items do and usually read up about them if I don't, so still not sure what it was. At least it's not a feature of the room! :lol:

I still need to beat hard mode with 4 characters, and there's still a few items and secrets to unlock, the former of which is just going to be luck. Think I still have about 35 to go, and I've probably put about 60 hours into the game. There's also donating 999 cents to the donation machine which is going to take strawberry floating forever (I'm currently at about 300, though focusing on it more now) and I've not touched any seeds yet; there's some interesting ones I'd like to try.

This will no doubt take me up to Afterbirth later on in the year, then I have all sorts of new stuff to focus on. :lol:

a-wahoo. Also unlocked The Lost which didn't take as long as I thought it would (mainly because I thought it would just glitch out on me like with some of the trophies). Also ot around 130 of the 178 secrets and around 90% of the items, I think.

I think I'm actually addicted to this game :lol:

but now's the time to put it down, for a while at least. Probably until Afterbirth comes out.

I blitzed hard mode earlier with Eve, Samson and Lazarus (Ludovico Technique + Guppy = sogood.gif), so I'm just down to the last few secrets and items. Gonna attempt to unlock The Lost in the week, hope I find it as easy as you did as I've heard some reeeeeally annoying stories. :dread:

Fired this up again for a bit the other night and all of my trophies that had not previously popped... popped! Only got 6 to go now, and I'm pretty sure 2 of them are for platinuming the game. And I'm still yet to touch hard mode :lol:

I guess some items and secrets are unlocked that way?

Excellent news about it coming to other platforms, although it doesn't seem like it'll be coming to the 2DS.

Hard Mode unlocks - It's just a case of beating Mom's Heart on Hard with each of the individual characters to unlock an extra co-op baby, except for The Lost where you have to beat everything except Mega Satan on Hard (Chest, Dark Room, Boss Rush). Good fun that one! :lol:
