Well recommended.

Zombie dice gets boring fast, but its a nice one to break out at the start of a session while people are still gathering or something.

Monthly games night with the work crew tonight, sun is out in full force here so itll be good to get inside and away from its harmful rays.

Yeah, Zombie Dice is one of those 'palette cleanser' games to play between games. I tend to play Fluxx or Murder of Crows as other games like that, just something to switch things up a bit. Dobble is a surprisingly fun and quick game too, very good as one of these types of games too.

Dobble.

Its amazing how your brain can break and forget how to say words when playing that game.

Can anyone recommend some good IOS board games, got Carcassonne which is a great adaptation, I know Ticket to Ride is highly thought of but it's pretty expensive.

Anybody else have it who might be able to help with the rules :dread:

Usually I find the only thing to do is dive in and wing it for the first game. It's usually painful, but the rules quickly resolve once you can see the whole board and pieces in front of you.

Ticket to Ride is one of the best, so get it. Catan is alright on iOS.

Puerto Rico is pretty good, but if you havent played the physical board game it could be a little tricky to get into the swing of it, its pretty dense.

Been playing this a few times recently. It can be hilarious-crying with laughter at some points but it does depend on who you play with.

Finally got to play it myself yesterday. This was a highlight:

I enjoy it but it annoys me that people pick something that makes them laugh to win even if it doesn't fit at all.

Well, the Card Tsar should take into consideration whether the answer fits or not. I'd pick an answer that fit well over something that didn't fit as well but I found funnier every time.

Part of the game is trying to play to the sense of humour of the person choosing

My favourite recently was:

I've been playing this a lot recently, I think my favourite I've seen is:

What are the US military air dropping to the children of Afghanistan?

Dead parents.

Got Forbidden Island for my birthday and it seems relatively simple, I'll have to up the difficulty for the next game!

Is the Colditz game any good? Looks interesting.

I've been playing Adventure Time Monopoly with the wife lately. Really want the Zelda edition, and the Firefly Clue. Got a quality board and card game shop here in town.

Colditz might look good but it really only suits a few kinds of people. It's a little slow, the rules can be hard to follow and very few people like being the Germans. I think being the Germans is great, mainly because any time there's a disagreement or confusion with the rules, I get final say.
