Also really enjoyed that team Oddball. I think Halo really shines with these different and crazy modes.
Same
Really reminded me of the first time we linked our pcs up at my parents house and played networked pc games. We had two identical machines, one being mine, and the other being a family pc. I saw a network kit in a pc shop in town, which was two pci network cards and a really long Ethernet cable. Took a chance not knowing what to was doing, fitted both and they talked to each other fine (the cable stretched from one end of the house downstairs to my bedroom upstairs).
Me and my mate needed some games to play, so we loaded up a load of pc gamer demo discs, and for some reason a lot of them had working local multiplayer as part of the demo. One we played to death was medal of honour allied assault, and the map was Stalingrad. Very small map with two buildings facing each other. Perfect sized ,so for two players. We played it SO much, over and over for months. Great times
It had the same kind of feeling as that halo map, just on a much smaller scale.
I'd love to play that again
