Not sure I’ll get on at all tonight, I’ve just left work and have a long ride home and I have stuff to do when I get there… we’ll see.

Got home in time to watch Aaron's stream:

"Alright lads I'm going to call it a night there..."

Harrumph!

That Aaron, what a prick!

Glad I managed to get on for a few games at the end there guys, lots of fun as always!

I'll give Xcloud a go for Perfect Dark next week but I suspect the performance might be too shite for me to stick it out, you never know though!

Enjoyed thanks for the games!

In two minds about halo - one match everything seems waaaaaay too slow and you're just dying out of nowhere, and it's just a bit gooseberry fool. Then another match it all feels like the right pace and you seem able to survive a decent amount of time in a fight and it's great.

That sniper pistol :datass:

I think some of the modes definitely work better with teams. We ended with a round of Team Oddball and it was great fun. Much better than that first game we played.

But yeah, Perfect Dark up next week!

You can join in on 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series as well as Xcloud (Even on PC). But controllers all the way!

Then we go back to Master Chief Collection two weeks later to round out our Xbox portion with Halo 2. So that'll be fun.

Oh and cheers to Aayl for hosting the matches tonight. Was great to have the evening off.

My favourite game mode was probably the one I did worst at - Juggernaut on that map where you can see the other side across a chasm.

Also really enjoyed that team Oddball. I think Halo really shines with these different and crazy modes.

Hmm, not sure the cloud version of Perfect Dark is working properly. Boots into the menu by won't let me do anything as it keeps asking me to sign in but the sign in process doesn't seem to work (and I would have assumed would be taken care of at the system level...)

Same

Really reminded me of the first time we linked our pcs up at my parents house and played networked pc games. We had two identical machines, one being mine, and the other being a family pc. I saw a network kit in a pc shop in town, which was two pci network cards and a really long Ethernet cable. Took a chance not knowing what to was doing, fitted both and they talked to each other fine (the cable stretched from one end of the house downstairs to my bedroom upstairs).

Me and my mate needed some games to play, so we loaded up a load of pc gamer demo discs, and for some reason a lot of them had working local multiplayer as part of the demo. One we played to death was medal of honour allied assault, and the map was Stalingrad. Very small map with two buildings facing each other. Perfect sized ,so for two players. We played it SO much, over and over for months. Great times  It had the same kind of feeling as that halo map, just on a much smaller scale.

I'd love to play that again

Literally came in to post that.

Great bundle. Worth it for Prodeus and Turbo Overkill alone I would say and that before you even think about Quake II. :D

I still can't get the cloud version of PD to work, just falls over at this login prompt that feels like it shouldn't even exist in a cloud environment

That's bizarre that's it's not working for you. When I tried the cloud version it just asked me to login to the 360 version of XBL and then pulled down my profile and even my save games. It was seamless.
I did already own the game both on XBLA and as part of Rare Replay but I don't see why that should matter for the gamepass version.

What are you trying to play on?

Yeah that's the plan. Gonna get some duel wielding and hopefully better maps (A run button would be nice too). :slol:

If we're playing on Xbox, does that mean we're chatting through that, or is it discord as usual? (ive never played a game online on the xbox)
