For a second there, I thought we had the ability to embed BBC News videos.

RIP Chuck Berry. Hard to think of anyone else who's had as big an influence on the root of so much modern music.

2017 seems a bit disappointing in terms of the celebrity harvest.

That's because there are no greats left. Who have we still got? The only musicians left are Bono and Harry Styles.

Lemmy was original enough to go out before the 2016 cull.

Don't worry, I'm sure the Blood Gods will demand more high-profile sacrifices later in the year when their red thirst grows. At the moment they're still sated with the souls of George Michael and Carrie Fisher which arrived late in the 2016 harvest.

You never said he died in 2016 so no need to be corrected. ;)

And now Michael Parks has strawberry floating died.

I hope you're strawberry floating happy :|

That pre-credits sequence to From Dusk Til Dawn is one of my favourite openings to any film and it's almost entirely down to Michael Park's delivery of this line.

strawberry float, what a brilliant screen villain this guy was. Tremendous actor. If this new Deadwood movie actually gets off the ground it'll be a sad one without him.
