So young. Wake Me Up besides being a great pop song is also very spiritual. Rest in Peace.

Fuuuck. He had a ridiculous age:tunes ratio going for him. Sounds like it was a case of longstanding health issues as well :(.

Same boat and then I heard some of his tunes and strawberry float... he's a legit loss. (What I heard was all uplifting stuff.)

gooseberry fool, I saw the other day he was in the studio with Jocke Berg. Guess those recordings will never be released now. :-(

Verne Troyer.
Came to Redcar to appear in a Nightclub, ends up in hospital almost immediately after and is dead shortly thereafter.

Celebrities might want to stay away from my hometown it's clearly a deathtrap.

I think that would be good advice for anyone.

Just looked at the 2017 thread for our start of year predictions - no one doing very well so far. Interest wildcare used by Bunni on Ant McPartlin though!

Well, uhh... I wasn't the biggest fan but I loved his radio hits so I don't know how to deal with this one. Wake me up when it's all over.

Sounds like he couldn't handle the fame and took his own life :(

Never knew who he was until he passed away (only one of his songs sounded familiar) but have been listening to him ever since. This new news is just so sad that I don't think I can listen to his stuff any more.

Body found in search for Frightened Rabbit singer Scott Hutchison :(

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/may/11/body-found-in-search-for-frightened-rabbit-singer-scott-hutchison

He'd been missing for a few days, last seen in South Queensferry, near the Forth Bridges. So I feared the worst. Just 36 years old.

I saw Scott Hutchison a couple of months ago supporting The Hold Steady and thought he was great. Very sad news.

Oh man, I really loved frightened rabbit. It's not really a surprise that their lead singer killed himself though, their lyrics were very depressed.

This has been big news up here since he signed off Twitter the other day - awful if it's him(and it probably is).
