Don't mind Norwich, always found them to have a good set of fans. But the nightmare scenario of three southern teams promoted has come to pass.

Norwich is in East Anglia :x .

It is further south than the centre-point of England (which lies somewhere in Derbyshire or Leicestershire), therefore it is southern.

EDIT: Hmm, by the latest Ordinance Survey metric it is just slightly north. Interesting.

Norwich is only slightly further North than Peterborough? It is also much further east than what you would class as the midlands.

DML's opinion doesn't count as everything is North from Portsmouth.

Norwich/East Anglia don't count as south if you take it purely as the South East, but I have never really heard it call the midlands, and it definitely isn't the North.

Northampton is the name of the town. The county name is obviously more accurate. ;)

Commiserations Parksey/Boro. Losing in the playoff final is awful, but last time it happened to us we tore the division apart the year after, so you never know, you might come back stronger.

This does mean we get to contest the Friendship Trophy again with Norwich next season.

Do not envy Middlesboro' record in the play offs but know how it feels as we have a similar record in the FA Cup of having made 4 finals without ever winning the strawberry floating thing!

You're West of Amsterdam so you are actually North West. Don't worry though, Kanye loves you.

I kind of wanted to see Middlesborough back in the Premier League as I have a fondness for the Fabrizio Ravanelli/Juninho golden era.
