See, this thread make sense.
As I'm sure everyone knows, I support the other team in heavy debt.

We don't even need 2 football threads, let alone 3.

This. Shame it's started on a week where most teams were in the cup, so there won't be much discussion anyway
Championship's part of the Football League, E

Will wait and see if this thread's going to get merged or not before I bother making it all grammatically sound

There's midweek games. We could do with following up the wins over Orient (and er, Arlesey) with another win or draw, but that will be tough against Carlisle.

+1 for this thread makes sense.
But! I think the other thread should be open to anyone who wants to post about their club even if they're Football League or non League Football.

Very torn emotions about Pompey's home defeat against Notts County in FA Cup yesterday - I'm devastated there's no chance of a cup run like previous years but I honestly think it's best we concentrate all our resources on the league until we're slightly more stabilised. So many of our players are on one month rolling loans that the less opportunity for injuries to occur, the better. The money from progressing to the later rounds would've been nice though...
In other Pompey news, Scott Allan who had a fantastic game against Sheff United the other day and has looked one of our most dangerous players on the ball has critically injured a pedestrian in his Audi. Sounds like no charges are going to be pressed so I'm guessing it really can't have his fault. Not an ideal distraction for him though.

Yeah I was discussing this with my mate yesterday, it's probably better that we're out of the cup as we haven't got the depth in the squad to be playing extra games. Not that I'm glad we lost, obviously, but it's a distraction that we could do without, and it's not like we'd get far anyway.
That Scott Allan news is pretty shocking, but looks as though it wasn't his fault. Just hoping that the person he hit makes a full recovery and that Allan doesn't let it affect his game by being traumatised or something.

Two home games against non league opposition between us and the third round, knowing Walsall we will lose the replay though
