FWIW I only said the Dick Move thing because of the whole "I've not heard anything" stuff.

Yeah that's what grates a bit, what he said yesterday. Still, no-one can blame him for jumping ship.

I honestly can't think who we could/would appoint.

When penniless Blackpool start nicking your managers... :fp:

It'll be Guy Whittingham who will take over - they aren't gonna spend money bringing anyone else in. Why Appy....WHY?

TBH, whilst I respect the guy and desperately wanted him to stay - his teams are all over the place at the moment, wildly veering between fantastic and woeful - I don't think hes ready for a Championship promotion/play-off push.

Congrats, Appy. Quality bloke and always deserved better than we can currently give him. Wish him all the best at Blackpool.

Worried about what will happen to us next...

Still makes me a bit sad that when you think back a few years to the crowds we used to get, and now we're happy ~22k crowd. Still, a good turnout relative to normal now so hopefully its a good atmosphere. I'll be watching it down at uni in the local with a few other Boro fans who live in the area. Gonna be top of the table tomorrow night 8-)

Top of the league
Some of that passing :datass:

Hoyte's goal was gooseberry fool hot too

Was worried when they equalised and started to get more control of the game, but we responded well.
Their goal was about 2 metres offside  . Ledesma was class, was impressed with Leadbitter again too.

Would be interested to hear from Parksey about the atmosphere if he went, think there was about 28k there

Up the Boro

Just heard Dave Jones describe our second goal as offside. Oh the ironing.

Will respond more later on, but the atmosphere was cracking. How I remember it when I first got a season ticket aged 12 (just after we went up with Merson). Certainly the best atmosphere since I renewed my season ticket after returning to the North-East from Uni.

We obviously can't do it every week, but we need to do it as often as we can. It is an entirely different place when it is busy and bouncing. Only the lack of Sheffield Wednesday fans stopped it looking full and topping 30k.

Dave Jones moans about anything that means the match doesn't go his way... Remember him complaining after the Palace match when we got a pen (then we didn't) and he complained that the poor officiating there made Palace's desire to win due to a complete and utter cock up from the ref made his team lose...

Tosser :fp:

Excellent goal from Hoyte, always great when full backs burst down the pitch like that...
