As it's going to contain Cliff Richard I might set the ol' VCR.

Nothing on there that I'd watch except Sherlock, but after the awful end to season 3 I think I'm put off the idea of any more Sherlock.

This is a one off special set in the old universe & has no connection to the modern day series, so nobody should have any problem following it.

My problem is not that I expect it to be difficult to follow. My problem is the last episode of Sherlock was awful, so I suspect the next episode might also be awful.

Ah, I see. I've never actually watched a solitary episode. I watched a 10 minute clip on BBC1 HD when it goes off the air for half hour at 6:30 once & that was it. I thought it was widely regarded as an excellent programme?

It is excellent. And that particular episode received widespread acclaim. I really disliked it, however.

I bet we're going to get the even more shitty movie version of Mrs Brown's Boys on BBC this year?

Big names announced for the Christmas Day Strictly Come Dancing.

Harry Judd & Jo Clifton
Abbey Clancy & Brendan Cole
Alison Hammond & Robin Windsor
Lisa Snowdon & Pasha Kovalev
Tom Chambers & Oti Mabuse
Cassidy Little & Natalie Lowe.

Wish it was Christmas [to]day I'm that EXCITED. If I had one I'd be hanging off the chandeliers, in fact.

The most important thing this Christmas is on Netflix: A Very Murray Christmas, the Bill Murray Special.

It had better be on UK 'flix, too.

The only one of those I've heard of is Abbey Clancy and that’s only because she slutted it up about ten years ago when she was dating Crouch.

No, it was the one where Sherlock thought the villain had a great big vault kept full of incriminating info, but he was actually just very good at remembering facts. So Sherlock shot him. :fp:
