I used to look forward to Christmas TV so much years ago but rarely does much appeal to me now. There's a couple of things I will watch but nothing i'm excited about.

It's a maybe to Big Fat Quiz, Pointless, and the Crystal Maze.

It's a no to everything else.

No Bond film on ITV this year?

If Crystal Maze is a celebrity special then I'll probably pass. It's way better when it's just regular people.

I'm guessing the films haven't really been announced yet.

What if the Crystal Maze is a Bond special? Dalton getting locked in the Industrial Zone while Craig calls him a daft banana split?

Reminds me of when Alan Partridge was pitching shows to the BBC director general along with:

A Partridge among the Pigeons.
Cooking in Prison.
Monkey Tennis and Inner City Sumo.

BBC1

Nile Rodgers Rocks Big Ben Live!

Read this as Nile Ranger and immediately wondered what the strawberry float that banana split was doing on television.

Who the strawberry float is Nile Rodgers and why is he rocking Big Ben?

What a dreadful offering from the TV gods, they must really hate us.
