I saw Return of the King at the Cribbs cinema as well. There was a fire drill halfway through and we all got evacuated. Was actually awesome as was a chance to stretch my legs and have a piss and a smoke. 8-)

Reminds me of when I went to a Vue cinema to see a late night showing of the third Pirates of the Caribbean film years ago. About halfway through the film it just turned off and the lights came on. Everyone sat there for about 10 minutes wondering what was going on, but nothing happened. So a few of us got up and went to look around the cinema only to find it seemingly devoid of any and all staff. The concessions stand was just left abandoned (and open) and there were no staff to be found anywhere. After about 30 minutes, the film just randomly started up again with no explanation then, or afterwards when the film ended.

I went to see Inception whenever it was out, and the local cinema had an interval break just before they were going start the big idea implant mission thing.

Worst gooseberry fool ever. I was like 'what the absolute strawberry float'.

Might agree with this topic after last night. Had a group of three people to might right last night who stank of drink and were arguing all the way through the film, they were talking loudly and didn't give a gooseberry fool! then behind me i had two young girls with a tesco bag full of food and every time they went into their bag it was so loud!
