I have to be honest, I take these things with a pinch of salt. There are so many variables at play here, to use this as an example of 'the forrunners!!!1!!' is just ridiculous.

Britain's Kyle Edmund stunned third seed Grigor Dimitrov to reach his first Grand Slam semi-final at the Australian Open.

great, great result without doubt,
but whats with the men wearing all the girly pinks on court.
rafas pink shade ( live now) is loved by my daughter , she is 7 yrs old

Andy who?

He will get knocked out in the semis and end up crying his eyes out like Andy Murray.

The British Empire strikes back! Along with Brexit, Lewis Hamilton and the rugby we Brits shall rule the world again!

He's done well to get this far, but I think that's as far he can go, unfortunately.
I just can't see him beating Federer or Nadal.

Edmunds is not a nice person - he's as unpleasant as his pink/ orange outfit- he'll get well beaten next round when he plays genuine quality

Let me get this right.

So Edmund reaches the quarterfinals of arguably the easiest grand slams interns of priorities of top players and we are happy ?

He is yet to beat a proper seeded player in top 15.

He won’t reach the semi finals.

I’m a County journalist

ooooooh did posh boy out posh somebody?

Well done Kyle. Such a shame the EU funded BBC can't spend some its 'Lineker Money' on showing us a few of the matches.

Doctors should not prescribe "precious" antibiotics for most people with sore throats and should recommend drugs like paracetamol, new guidelines say.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-42818043

Native American sweat lodge, sauna, steam room, kettle of hot water inhaled. All work at least as well as medication by changing the conditions in the environment in which the bacteria live so that it’s hostile to them. Chemicals also change the conditions but are best saved as weapons of last resort

I have a 20 year old apprentice working in my dept. In 2018 alone he has left work on 4 occasions to attend docs appointments for bad heads and feeling 'run down'! By the way, he also gets Taxi's for each appointment!

No wonder the young can't afford houses and the NHS is on it's knees if this is what some people are doing!!

Doctors be acting all like Gollum with their "precious" antibiotics. Stop being so selfish and hand over the goods......Geez

Why? They make me better faster so I can live my life again.

What a boring topic for discussion, let's talk about the BBC pay cuts for men instead.

Why hasn't Gary (tax avoiding crisp peddler) Lineker been given the boot yet? Nobody watches MOTD for Lineker or that plank of wood Shearer (who promotes betting companies).

This is natural selection, when people like this get something more serious and find out they have already used antibiotics so much that they have built up a resistance to them. They die and their stupidity gets removed from the gene pool.

These people are thick bastards. There are reasons why they don't prescribe antibiotics all willy nilly.

These people are too thick to be allowed a say on anything related to medicine.

But surely the problem is that they are being prescribed willy nilly, i.e. for 60% of sore throat cases.

Beckham launches an MLS team.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42864461

Sadly, most of the comments show up the British trait of attacking success. Beckham was a great player for England and he is a better role model than most superstars. Get a life and stop whinging about success. In fact, go vote Jeremy Corbyn, he and his mob will help you bring the UK to it's knees!!!!!

Hopefully it will be a disaster; no fans turn up, the team are rubbish, the whole venture goes into liquidation and the ex-ManUre selfish one ends up owing billions. Then he goes to prison and we never hear of him ever again. And he drops the soap in the showers.

I have never forgiven Beckham from the 1998 World Cup when received a straight red for kicking out at Diego Simeone of Argentina. I was at the game and like so many other supporters came away devastated. We had the game won after a brilliant goal by Owen but Beckham had to go and spoil it and showed what a petulant brat he was and still is. I also can't stand his insufferable wife.

His arrogance in demanding a Knighthood is staggering, he won nothing with England, unlike Bobby Moore and Alan Ball. I wonder how their families feel ?

Maybe he can "demand" a Presidential Medal Of Freedom award, it's the equivalent of a knighthood over here, his demands for a knighthood here and the hissy fit when he wasn't considered for one shows what he's all about.
Stay over there Beck's, they need you more than us.

One of the Gormless Generation who flopped so spectacularly for England and now wants a Knighthood as payment for time served.

Americans need to stop backing the oppressive Honduran dictator. Third ay dead so far. The military being deployed against the people. They have blood on their hands.

Who cares a damn what this grinning goon and pout on a broomstick does ?

Awful self obsessed pair.

BBC Sport..Do you honestly think most of us give a hoot what Beckham and his Billionaire mates are doing in the US. We have plenty of lower league clubs here struggling to survive on a shoestring, while the Premier is bathing in money beyond anyone imagination Why not use column time to campaign for the lower clubs to get more help financially, or is it a bit to controversial or hard work for you!!

I couldn't give a sugar what has been Beckham and his insufferable greedy wife do.

Message for davie becks ....... Giz a job ....sun sea sand and beautiful women just like planet Birkenhead .......lol
