It really is, I can't stand Gervais which doesn't help but it just isn't as funny as the US one, even the jokes they did in both are funnier when done in the US one.

He's alright on the last leg, and I saw him at the Manics Holy Bible 20th anniversary show at the Roundhouse, so he must be a cool guy really.
