Jon Stewart was back last night, but for the best possible reason. Absolutely worth a watch

That was indeed brilliant. Mitch McConnell is a despicable human being.

The gun training segment on Thursday night's show, strawberry floating hell. :dread: That's how easy it is to get a gun.

Yep, it's much, much harder to get a driving licence which is complete madness but the pro gun crowd think even that much training is more than enough.

The episode pre-Republican debate is probably the best Noah era one I've seen. That letter is extraordinary and the Jordan Klepper panel I'm struggling to believe is real

Just watching this episode now. The woman in the panel who looks like George Costanza's mother appears to have broken Jordan Klepper.

-In that statement you had like four vast majorities.
-*Nods* Vast majority.

Great return. I like the new stand-up opening, I hope they keep it.

How are people feeling about Trevor Noah after a few months now.

I'll be honest, I think I'm going off him a bit. I'm finding the humour of the show seems to have lowered in tone a little bit and the political commentary I think is slightly suffering as a result (maybe it's just the Trump effect). His interview style also needs a lot of work still.

His laugh is very annoying too.

Edit: Just watching that banana split from Fox who was on last week, 'America is a lifeboat and the rest of the world is the Titanic', strawberry floating hell. They just wouldn't say that in front of Stewart or they'd get strawberry floating obliterated.

He laughs at his own autocue far too much.

That segment about the Whitesboro village symbol was really weird.

Trevor's been killing this week, really enjoyed all of the shows. I could do without Ronny Chieng, though.

I know it's Colbert again, but this interview last night was incredibly off the rails. Josh Brolin seems half mad.

Allegedly Josh Brolin was Warner Bros' first choice for Batman until he turned up to the meeting with WB execs wasted. Affleck obviously got it instead.

He does seem like the sort to down a bottle of whiskey before breakfast.
