Anderson complaining about the speed of Whitlock really was quite stupid. Looking for an easy excuse more like.

What an epic day of darts, you just can't right off the underdog. The only letdown was Anderson really.

What a day of darts, we have had everything, including the come back of all comebacks!

Wade must be in pieces......
Lewis to retain his title, maybe but better check which direction the wind is blowing

How can we go from one of the great games to that farce? It was like Mervyn King and the Lakeside air conditioning all over again :fp:

Hamilton to win the final 7-3

I wonder if he'll show up at the Premier League in one of the wildcard slots.

Not this year he wont, they have already announced the lineup.

Oh really, who's in? Not Raymond Van Barneveld, surely...

Off the top of my head -

Painter
Hamilton
Taylor
Barneveld
Whitlock
Lewis
Wade
Anderson

If I was to pick someone to make way for Hankey I'd say Painter.

Barneveld is one of the wildcards.

Over the moon England beat the Aussie's. Can't stand that slimy banana split Paul Nicholson. Little crying gooseberry fool isn't even an Aussie, he's a strawberry floating Geordie Why I mannnn.

Whitlock, as usual, played a good game and carried the sniveling gooseberry fool through to sudden death.

Paul Nicholson really gets on my nerves as well. His various WWE taunts (such as the salute he gives on stage) or when he shouts out when walking down the aisle-way is rather embarrassing.

Absolutely incredible. Was rooting for van Gerwen all the way.

I thought Lewis was a dead cert at the end there, but he missed the double top twice.

BDO on the BBC gets underway next Saturday too.
