Not sure if it'll be of use to anybody, but here's a link to my CV (With the name and details changed, obv) that got me an interview for the job I started recently with:

http://www.filehosting.org/file/details ... v-cade.doc

It's not the flashiest, but it did get me a job working for a very good and prestigious company in Marketing.

No, just put your name there instead.

What if his name is Curriculum Vitae?

Then he can successfully take his parents to court for damages.

A question for those in the know: when redoing my CV I was told that it should be no more than two pages, and accompanied by a personal statement which should be no more than one side of A4. Does that sound right?

I only ask as a friend of mine whose husband, who also interviews people (and is in a pretty high up position in a multinational engineering company) said that the personal statement should be part of the CV, which again should be no longer than two pages.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Yeah two pages max. I squeezed everything into one page though, and for the personal statement I just wrote a couple of sentences. :shifty:

I personally have never submitted a personal statement unless it's stated specifically that they want one. CV being two sides seem to be the general rule, but I aim to cut it down to one if possible.

It's definelty tough out there as My Misses is finding out she was made redundant whilst on maternity leave back in November and is finding it very difficult to find another job and she has 14 years experience in her field. Wanting part time is not helping but she wants to have some input init our sons upbringing as we did with our daughter.

What I am finding annoying is those that are lucky enough to be in work and still moan and don't perform well. I am having a run of people like this in my dept at work at the moment. They are finding out the hard way though as I won't tolerate it and say bye bye. I feel bad but you really need to prove yourself these days and that's what your probabtion period is for.

It's cocktail time!. Then again when isn't it.

Whenever I write a CV (like Eighty's missus, I do it for a living), I always aim for two pages, and never any more. I use Calibri 12pt for the main text, and Calibri 14pt Bold for the headings and the name and address. I use a simple border around each page to make the CV a bit more eyecatching, and I use line shading to make the headings stand out a bit more and to seperate things out a bit more. I also apply a footer with the person's name and the page number (in the format Page x of y), as you shouldn't staple a CV, and it allows the two halves to be easily reunited should they become separated.

This is how I have my CV set out (I print on both sides of the paper so it's still a CV on one page):

I used Arial font at size 8 because it was the default word font and Times New Roman looks way too small at size 8, on A4 paper, Arial size 8 is clear and professional looking.

Simple, tidy, effective.

I got £110 last month

Yes guys this is FOR REAL. If you don't believe me. Google it .

You generate money from the ads on your videos. You monetise your videos after uploading them, depending on how new your chanel is you might need to wait before you get the option to monetise your videos.

I have two channels.

All that money is for my GAEMZ 8-)

People who do that are Youtube spammers like the terrible "TheReplyGirl" who replies to every trending video with broken, horrid English, just describing what she just watched. The only reason she initially got views is because she frames her webcam so her large boobs are in the centre. Thankfully the Youtube engineers are changing their algorithm so the pay out so it isn't just based on the amount of views a video has but also likes:dislikes ratio which no "internetz moneyz" for either of you. No more misallocation of resources. :)

Create good content though and continue to get paid.

Your CV looks a bit skimpy on the details. And words.

I'd have thought the process would be by and large the same.

CV. He hasn't to my knowledge applied for the other. I'm no expert, but I believe this human breeding business requires two people?

In MCN's case, it's one person and a towel.

I don't do that but that is an option if people can't be bothered creating content.

I create my own content sort of. :shifty:
