After all this time waiting around I received an email at 1am this morning telling me I've been shortlisted but they don't yet know when the interview will be :fp:.

Psycho Director still mysteriously absent :slol:

My old boss got in touch again out of the blue yesterday and offered me a massive salary and said I could work from home and just have to come in for a meeting once a week. The float is going on

Ask your current job if you can go to compressed hours over 4 days then outsource the new job and just turn up for the meetings.

Bought a new three-piece suit today for interviews. Look good, feel good :datass: Arranged a meeting with an agency in Birmingham for Tuesday, and the guy's put me in for a couple of positions already.

I'm still super anxious about making the phonecalls to these agencies in the first place, but they always seem to go well once we're talking. The guy I was speaking to earlier said that I was more chatty than most engineers he's spoken to :slol: I think I'm getting a little better at selling myself, too. Just need to remember the examples I'm using for future reference.

Just been pulled in by a director who's asked me to sit in on a sacking this afternoon of two people who have been bullying this really quiet shy guy in my office. There's loads of evidence, email trails and even a strawberry floating whatsapp group. They all work in the call centre.

I can't wait for this, what a couple of horrible banana splits. Zero sympathy for them.

I read to here and thought it sounded awful.

And then I finished it and hope you nail these banana splits to the wall.

Why, what did the quiet dude do? Is he a potential serial killer?

Not saying that it is deserved, but he might be a Harold Shipman character.

We don't know the full facts Preezy!

I would like to hear anonymised stories of course, sounds like a good work soap.

I've been bullied in work and it sucks, although more just working with bad people.

Are you sitting in to learn or because your director needs support?

Maybe it is a trap and they are sitting in at your dismissal and will be streaming live to GR. :datass:

I was asked to sit in as a member of the management team, just so there was a senior(ish) witness.

They did the sackings together, both of these pricks didn't see it coming. The look on their faces when it was announced that we've got your emails and you're both getting the boot. Director read out some of the emails (horrible stuff with threats of physical violence) and they just sat there, didn't say a word. Then they got escorted out by our building's security. So long strawberry floaters :toot:

Well done Preezy. They've got a bad reference now and will probably never work again.

Why on earth would anyone say anything incriminating on their work e-mails? I don't think there's a company in existence that gives you a company e-mail address that doesn't have it written in your contract that they can check the contents of your e-mails.

Glad to see a company taking action against people like that. All too often people like that get away with it and the worst that happens is they get quietly moved to another office/department.

I think more important is why you would do it in the first place not think at some point "hey I'm being a banana split here"

Mental issues. Maybe bullies simply have problems that need treating?
