Just want me to trial some new software D:

I said "are you here about the complaint against me?"

She did not find that funny.

I've been feeling a little down about my bank balance being constantly in freefall since leaving work in April, so I thought it might be an idea to have a look at the job-boards - Spotted an agency listing for a company that specialise in "4D and 5D attractions for cinemas, theme parks, museums, zoos and aquariums". And it's just down the road!

They want to get me in for an interview so the agency is figuring the times out at the moment. Already kinda nervous :shifty: Hoping I can dazzle them with my rollercoaster design in my portfolio. Gulp.

Good luck dude!!

The wife had a big panic about balance just dropping when she was on maternity leave, really helped to make a spreadsheet with you balance, outgoings etc. as it meant you could easily see how it was going to change over the next few months and made it easier to budget etc. as you could see the impact purchases etc. had. Calmed her right down and made her see with some cuts here and there it really wasn't as bad as she thought.

4d is time travel, so I'd imagine 5d is an alternate reality attraction.

Thanks guys

tbf nothing really ever seems to define what 5D is. You've had 3D cinemas, and then 4D was introducing stuff like moving seats and smells/sprays (Honey, I Shrunk the Audience!, etc), and now they're developing the 4D cinemas into moving rides with 3D screens and smells and they've just started referring to it as 5D. These guys did the Derren Brown Ghost Train at Thorpe Park, so it's all driven by modern technology like VR and everything.

This could be useful, too. Thanks Errkal

Frank, the best advice I can give is to show your enthusiasm for rollercoasters above all else. Any shortcomings elsewhere will be brushed aside I'd they see how enthusiastic you are. If you love these things, tell them, show your rollercoaster plans, tell then how much it interests and excites you. Ask them if you get to come back for a second interview (as in say this near the end of the first), for a a.tour of.where you'll be working. Chances are they'll offer to show you round there and then, providing lots of opportunities to gawp and wow at things, again showing off your enthusiasm. I did the same at mad catz and got the job over someone more qualified because I was so enthusiastic.

That felt weird, back in character ASK ABOUT A HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL ROLLERCOASTER MORE LIKE LOLERCOASTERS AMIRITE

 Thanks Ad

Sounds like a plan! I'm secretly hoping they'll give me a tour just so I can see if they've got a simulator room like B&W do for their cinema setups :shifty:

I'm wanted for permanent Web development again (Wordpress).

Just wait there while I descend into my newly acquired basement workshop and sort that gooseberry fool out, I'll get back to you when I've done every strawberry floating other thing possible.
