Guy sounds like a ball.

I am sure he is very lonely inside because nobody or any thing is better than him or what he has.

I've had someone before say they are too smart to go to university or work. When I got bored of them on MSN messenger they got sad when I didn't chat to them anymore. What's the point when your opinions are ludicrous and have no interest in exchange of ideas.

I imagine that is one subtype of many personalities that end up in areas like programming, it requires ingenuity and creativity a lot of the time sure but it also requires heaps of conviction and single mindedness to arrive at a solution that isn't circuitous or takes forever, and that can manifest as arrogance. It's the same as any industry but you have your fair share of terrible personalities, obviously with arts its the pretentious ones and bullshitters and unoriginal copycats.

Yeah but I'd get to leave 30 min early.

Yeah, I'm meeting my mate for a drink when he finishes work today (I'm currently unemployed) and so I sent that to him and he said "I'm not staying late"

Nope. I normally finish around 4.45 but as my boss and his boss are both WFH today I may well celebrate the national day today too

I left Cyprus and I am going back to work in Lincolnshire....boooooooooo hissssssss. Still though I've had a very cushy six months of not much weather, more pay and lots of lovely free time.

I have drank lots of gin.

I have 2 weeks off now before I go back to Lincolnshire.

I often wonder this. I could count on one hand the times I've sent an email on a Friday and someone has actually responded.

Got my final exam result last week and I'm now a fully qualified accounting technician (level 4 aat). I can now apply for full membership to the association but the qualification alone should be enough to help find a new job for now. Spoke to my wife tonight and I think I'll be going ahead with my original plan and handing my notice in at the end of the month.

Will work the ridiculous 3 months they ask for and finish on the last day of December. Will likely start looking for a new job on December. I'm terrified but I feel it needs to be done for my own sanity.
