This is a strawberry floating slog. Still waiting for my boss to turn up so I can speak to him. I really don't want to have to do this by phone or by just handing a letter to HR.

Mine will be up until Saturday

Which is, as per tradition, 12th Night. Ish.

My turn to do the 7 day 11-7pm shift this week on a&e. Laughably the shift is complete bobbins as it doesn't benefit a&e at all. Management being what they are, though, refuse to change it back to 10-6pm because by doing so they'd have to admit they were wrong introducing such a pointless shift pattern.

“But I don't want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked. “Oh, you can't help that,” said the Cat: “we're all mad here".

It's like you've been in senior management for years

I took this week off last year as well. The year before was a severe wake up call. So much bullshit during this week.

Getting really annoyed as desperate busy bodies desperate to be in charge of something, however menial, but then deny and reject any responsibility.

Travelling down south tomorrow, back to work on Thursday & Friday then off for the weekend.

Not too bad 8-)

Best part is, I have been keeping an eye on my emails and it looks as if they can all be deleted and forgotten about :toot:

Woke up this morning feeling quite good about having a month not working while I look for a job. Applied for an accounts position in a nursery this morning and I now have an interview at 10am tomorrow. Not feeling prepared in the slightest as I wasn't expecting to be interviewing so soon. Could go horrendously as a result but watch me end up starting a new job this week.

Job interview didn't last long this morning. The job itself didn't sound anything like the advert and was more of an admin role than an accounts role. I would've also been the only person in the office most of the time which, although potentially a bit of a skive, would've probably been too depressing and lonely. The interviewer and I mutually agreed to cut the interview short as it was obviously not what I wanted.
