I forget what the Advance games are like

Sonic R is pretty strawberry floating goat. Sonic Jam underrated gem. Sonic the Fighters is pretty kino. Sonic Battle is pretty strawberry floating kino. I forget if there are any other Sonic spin-offs worth mentioning but probably not.

Ban request.

When it comes to the 3D ones, SA and SA2 are pretty good, at least for Sonic/Shadow. I also rather enjoyed Lost Worlds.

I had to google what the strawberry float “kino” is meant to mean, and it appears to be 4ch*n slang, so ban request for that too.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles is my fave too. I prefer it a bit more than Mania. I have a soft spot for 1 and CD. 2 is decent but I often just stop playing it when I get to Metropolis Zone. 4 was okay - not played through part 2 yet. Superstars I've not played yet but I'm not really in a hurry to.

As for 3D Sonics I'm not sure which I prefer between SA1 and 2 really. Both just have different good (and bad) things about them. 2 is probably the better rounded game though I guess.

No love for Sonic Unleashed? Quite liked both the 360 and Wii version of that. I liked Sonic Frontiers a lot too but definitely feels a bit unfinished.

The Advance games are good aside from the terrible screen crunch. I especially like 3 and 1.

As for the DS games I liked Sonic Rush and I really liked Sonic Colours DS. Thought that was the most refined of those games and better than the Wii version.

Can't speak to the sequel, but I really enjoyed Sonic Rush on DS. Was the first sonic game I'd enjoyed in years at the time. Wonder how it's held up?

Growing up is realising SA1 > SA2.

Sonic Adventure was far better than the sequel.

I hated the fact that they cut out the exploration/central world hub part for SA2, and there were too many emerald hunt/shooting levels.

Incorrect. Base-game levels are pretty bland for the most part and the physics aren't quite there yet. Hub world is great tho. Haven't played the latter; why is Sonic in a car of all things?

Good morning everyone. Time for a personal question:

Who is your favourite Sonic character?

Sonic 3+knuckles > Mania > 2 > CD > 1

There are no other Sonic games.

With Sonic CD though, you need to have the Japanese soundtrack, when the game was included in Sonic Gems Collection on the Gamecube, they used the USA soundtrack which was nowhere near as good.
