I hope that's true.

2 episodes was way too short for Simms to flex his muscles as The Master. He was great in the role.

Then I remember that RTD is still behind it. :(

Just remember The Stolen Earth and Midnight, 2 absolutely stunning episodes. (Not that I thought Journey's End was bad or anything but I know how some people hated it when it was shown)

The first part of the finale was great but as always with RTD it fell apart in the second half.

I'm yet to see one of his episodes that has blown me away all the way through.

Tennant "keen" on Doctor Who film

David Tennant is reportedly keen to star in a big screen version of Doctor Who.

The Sun reports that the Scottish actor wants to sign a new deal with the BBC that includes playing The Doctor in both a spinoff movie and the fifth series of the popular drama in 2010.

Tennant has yet to commit to the role beyond several specials that mark the end of Russell T. Davies's tenure as executive producer.

An insider on the show told the tabloid: "It looks like the film is going to happen in the next few years... everyone is keen now and the fans are clamouring. Part of David’s conundrum is that he wants to do films, so this looks like it would solve both issues."

During the height of 'Dalekmania' in the 1960s, two movies starring Peter Cushing as the time traveller were released - Doctor Who And The Daleks and Daleks: Invasion Earth 2150 AD.

Unbelievingly fantastic news :D :D :D

Whispers say

Tate's gonna be back in one of the specials!

While I'm so very very happy at that, I think it's too soon.

So, the film's been more or less confirmed by both main writers. Can't remember any names.

CHRISTMAS SPECIAL SPOILER- MEGATON
Mind you, it'll be all over the pre-release press anyway, I'm sure.

Doctor Who meets Doctor Who

Doctor Who will apparently come face to face with a future version of himself in this year's Christmas episode.

According to The Sun, the Time Lord sees a damsel in distress, and as he goes to save her she is intercepted by another man - the Doctor from the future, played by David Morrissey.

"He steps forward to save her when this other man swings in, dashing, brilliant, amazing, clever, witty, saves the day," the show's creator Russell T Davies is quoted as saying.

The two Time Lords then become companions for the duration of the festive episode.

Last year's Christmas episode of the sci-fi show - which stars David Tennant as the Doctor - featured a guest turn by pop princess Kylie Minogue.

I thought it was a case of:
Morrissey being a fraudster pretending to be the Doctor to get money from people

Looks like Red Dog is right...

Basically Morrissey is claiming to be the Doctor so he battles these fake cybermen...then the real Doctor and the real Cybermen turn up :D
