I've not watched Who in aages.

I used to be really into the audios, I've still got the first 100 on my ipod.

Anyone picking up the William Hartnell classic "The War Machines" at the end of the month? The final shot of Harnell in the trailer is simply awesome!

I absolutely love classic Doctor Who and have a large collection of the DVD's. Takes me back to my youth of being terrified on Saturday tea-times during the 70's. I still vividly remember the big reveal of Scaroth in "The City Of Death".

I've got all the classic DVD's released to date so I'll be picking this up. Black & White Who FTW!!

I was really looking forward to the Trial of a Time Lord boxset though, if only to see if it is as bad as its reputation. The documentaries on it should be interesting as well, seeing as it's when the wheels really started coming off the classic series.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting much of her either, but she really grew on me as the season went on, and it was disappointing to see her go. Especially in the way that she left, losing her memory and everything.

Torchwood 2 was generally a big improvement over 1, but it was still very variable.

Most of the good stuff was either a) actors rising the material above the piffle it was written as, or b) the music making it completly awesome.

Plans for new Torchwood revealed

The new series of sci-fi show Torchwood will follow a single adventure instead of individual storylines, the BBC says.

Torchwood: Children Of Earth sees the team battling for the future of the human race against the fiercest force they have encountered.

"This series is one big serial and the most ambitious story we've ever made," writer Russell T Davies said.

Filming for the five-part series, which is due to be broadcast in 2009, has already begun in Cardiff.

John Barrowman will star as Captain Jack Harkness with Eve Myles - as Gwen Cooper - and Gareth David-Lloyd - as Ianto Jones - also returning in the third series of the Doctor Who spin-off.

"The new series of Torchwood is hugely bold and promises to be bigger and better than ever - the audience is in for an amazing ride," Davies said.

Julie Gardner, head of drama for BBC Wales, said: "We hope to make Torchwood a gripping and surprising TV event with storylines that push our team into greater danger and sacrifice."

The second series of the hit drama, which has been sold to more than 20 countries, attracted audiences of about 3.4 million when it was broadcast on BBC Two earlier this year.

She's dead isn't she?

We saw her die right? Didn't we? We didn't?! We heard her death cries like all the other characters shot by the daleks in Stolen Earth. What do you mean we didn't? Oooo!!!!

And those rumours about Harriet Jones being in league with the Daleks? They proved wrong of course....but what if Harriet Jones was in league with another enemy of the Daleks who wanted to thwart their plans?

And what of the Osterhagen key? Have really seen the last of it?

Now that would be a Master stroke now, wouldn't it. A terrific way to conclude the specials

Just remember The Stolen Earth and Midnight, 2 absolutely stunning episodes. (Not that I thought Journey's End was bad or anything but I know how some people hated it when it was shown)
