Well in the past if you take the capital city you take the country. Why the hell would anyone want to conquer Leeds or MK.

There's a Harvey Nichol's in Leeds now, y'know.

It's full of Loiners though. :dread:

Loiners? LOINERS? The strawberry float is this NONSENSE TERM THAT I REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE of which you speak?

They don’t always end up in London. The 2d creatures a few weeks ago were in Bristol and there have been recent episodes set in Cardiff.

The majority of stuff will be in London just because the BBC sell this show around the world. It is much easier to show a quick shot of Big Ben or St Paul’s Cathedral to set the scene than having to explain where Leeds or Hull are. ;)

And I doubt any self respecting alien or monster would want to invade Milton Keynes. :dread:

I'm pretty sure Milton Keynes is actually an extradimensional intrusion from the Cthulhu Mythos. All cyclopean stone monuments and maddening non-euclidean roundabouts.

People sure are stupid.

I would like to know how Pink's time traveling descendant is even there now, though.

It was quite a dark episode, not really surprised that people complained about it. In fact I expected it to be a bigger deal, especially with the faiths.

Maybe he isn't dead, somehow, or he will be somehow revived?

Or Clara is already up the spout.

"Dear Points Of View.

I was outraged that this weeks episode of Doctor Who DARED to contradict the fairy tales I fill my kids head with regarding life and death, with it's own BLASPHEMOUS fairy tales regarding life and death! Please ensure the series promptly returns to it's staple, wholesome tales of Intergalactic Genocidal Cyborg Death Machines. Oh and please remove that awful scotsman as well. Why not bring back that wonderful David Tennant fellow? He was lovely.

Mrs Edwina Fotherington-Smythe"

Something like that?

Well the forest episode is so shite.

But the finale! I did not expect the reveal. Shame that they plastered Cybermen all over in the promos etc as i soon realised what the bones are. I hope they sack whoever's responsible for that as its so stupid for that to be spoiled!

And I just realised its the finale. strawberry float. :slol:

This series is a hit and miss, with only new Doctor saving it really. Three good episodes, 2 awful and mostly average.

EDIT: It's not the finale! Thank Christ.

The BBC has a terrible habit of spoiling things in trailers. Hell, most media companies do. strawberry floating awful trend that needs to die.

I have a feeling it only got spoiled in the promos to distract us from the real plot twist: The Mistress. A silver herring.

In retrospect I cannot believe I didn't see that coming.

Especially after Clara got to "be" the Doctor.

I really enjoyed that episode. For the first time in new who something actually creeped me out dont cremate me!.

I liked the reveal of cybermen being the eyes on the door.
I guessed the Missy thing when she got the doctor to feel her heartbeat, but when It was revealed I said, "chalk it up" 8-)

I wonder what a Who intro sequence made in the style of these posters would be like?
