What difference does it make? It'd still be the exact same character as it is now :s

I would rather a character stay the same in that sense, and why not make some new strawberry floating characters instead of doing a Shitty little twist on something. It's like DC changing Wally West to a black guy (did this happen in the end?)Why not just create a new character instead of changing someon that's already created and established.

I think the twist is really good. I mean, we'd all kind of assumed this was a possibility, but I think enough work has been done through the season to ground her as the character.

And by strawberry float Capaldi is seriously good. I think he's my favourite NuWho Doctor.

That being said, I'm kinda sad we didn't get the Master played by Charles Dance as rumoured. Regeneration next week...? :datass:

I'd given up hope on the Charles Dance dream, but now you've said that

I really hope we don't see another regeneration just yet.

Clara and Danny's relationship must've been shite if he was struggling to come up with something inly he would know about/say.

I think he was struggling because it's not actually him.

Just imagine... Master manages to get away. Regenerates. And we have a huge throwdown at Christmas.

So you've just found out you were dead and then someone you love is telling you to prove it's you. How do you possibly prove something like that? I'd be more confused and upset that the person I loved didn't believe what I was saying.

By the end of it I thought he intentionally didn't say anything so she wouldn't kill herself.

That was the feeling I got. He could have said plenty that only he would have known. Hell, he could have just made something up that Clara didn't know. He was insistent on wanting her to live though, which seemed like it wouldn't happen of she belelieved it was really him.

This was a preview clip put up on the official Doctor Who youtube channel yesterday. It's basically the end of the ep. WTF are they doing? :fp:

Anyway. In more important news, this was Sean Pertwees Halloween costume!

Thanks to regeneration the Master's been several different characters already, as has the Doctor. Part of what makes the characters so interesting is that they change so much with each incarnation, each time effectively becoming a new character with the same name. It's also nothing new for a Time Lord to be able to change sex with a regeneration, so it's not like they've just plucked the idea out of thin air.

What I don't understand is the badies in Who have the entire universe and history to choose from but they end up in London.
They could at least invade somewhere slightly different like Leeds or Milton Keynes.

That was OK. They seem to have written themselves into a hole again. I imagine the solution is going to be a massive anti climax.
