Me? I'm waiting for the GOTY edition. Feels good man.

EDIT: OR a Wii-U version. Wouldn't that be cool?

Nothing about waiting for Skyrim is in any way cool. Sorry.

Have you got far enough into the main quest for dragons to start appearing?

Yeah I'm some sort of wolf now and finished all of their quest . Im going to some magic school and fight some nerds . It's a tough life.

That's not the main quest. The main quest is where you go see the Jarl of Whiterun about the dragon attack in the beginning of the game.

Dragons won't appear in the game before you do that quest and the one following it.

Yeah but it wouldn't work for me. He says go to jarl but the mission won't activate so I gave up.

MAking my way from my house in whiterun, north east to a quest and i see a dragon marked (which I've killed before, but was back for a bounty). Went to kill it, saw the word wall had 3 (!) words glowing. I got a full shout from it! But before i got to that a frigging dragon priest jumped out and attacked, but luckily i'm level 56 now so got him in 3 hits with my sword 8-)

I might have the full set of masks now, just got to go back to my drawers where they're kept and see how many i have.

It's a very handy shout for dungeons that. So many uses.

Games like this, huge sandbox experiences a with tonnes of gooseberry fool to do, are basically games where you can go anywhere and doing anything you want. If it bores you it's probably because you aren't that good at keeping yourself entertained.

Anyhoo, I'm going to try the demo kingdoms of amalur and see if it can provide my rpg fix between this and ME3.

Do you recall the rumours that Bethesda was going to release a hi-resolution texture pack for the PC version? Turns out they were spot on.

Also, it appears that Skyrim is 33% off on Steam now (£23.29, annoyingly. So it's roughly the same as retail). I have a 33% off Bethesda voucher which can stack on top of any promotions, which means for me it's about £15. I like that maths.

It was £22.50 on consoles before Christmas. ;)

So I got a bit sick of them not having new rings and necklaces after the fourth reload of the auto save. I'd also gotten sick of having to walk up to them all the time (auto save starts me at the door to the store - makes sense ofc). So I saved the game manually while I at their counter, then proceeded to moider them both and any guards that came in for good measure (yeah, I was a bit stressed :x strawberry floating work). Reloaded the manual save and... new set of rings and necks (nothing I was after though -gief sure grip plx!1)! Hoping I had struck upon a sweet bug type thing I killed 'em both again (and the guards) and reloaded the previous manual save. New rings and neck again! I eventually managed got a sure grip neck and ring but am holding out for major and or peerless level items.

Man, this strawberry floating game is sorely tempting me into buying a new PC. I pondered a new PC when each update of WoW caused the horizon to shrink and frame to stutter, but Skyrim is the first game to make me want a new PC so I can experience the game at its best. It's up there with buying a console just for one game and taking days off work for Zelda.

In way it's massively annoying because I just cannot afford it, but in another way it's also fantastic because a game has made me feel *that way* again.

Skyrim   strawberry floating love it.

Anyone else got a Bethesda voucher on Steam?

Might just bite the bullet and get it for £23 but may as well ask if anyone else has a voucher

Skyrim redownloaded, check. Free 3.5GB Hi-Res Texture Pack DLC downloaded, check. Creation Kit installed, check.

Looks very nice. Runs fine at Ultra.

Looking forward to messing around with the creation kit when I get BB back. I've got quite a few gameplay tweak ideas.

Saw a giant yesterday. Didn't even go near it. Was genuinely scared of it. In other news, still need 1500 gold for a house, anyway to get money quicker
