I'm sure the physical version will drop to at least £20 over festive period and that's when shall take the plunge. Only got to slaying first dragon first time around, absolutely loved the world so look forward to going back eventually!

Well I paid full price for it, did as far as I could tell everything there was to be done, finished with a game clock of 200:33:55 so I feel the £38 I spent on it to be justified. £22.99 is a steal in my opinion but I also agree that it may be worth waiting for a drop in the price of the retail version. Depends how badly you want to play the game really.

The £22.99 price is only as part of the 12 Deals Of Christmas thing. It'll go back up to the usual price tomorrow I think.

If I didn't already own Skyrim on PC I'd be picking it up.

Yeah, really enjoying my current playthrough. Have done Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Companions and have now started the Winter hold College. I shall then maybe look at the boards college and the whatever Dawn.

I met Barbus (a dog) the other day, and started his quest and as a result he's now following me. Holy moly, he's so damn annoying, he's always getting in between you and what you want to get to, he's constantly blocking doors and almost never stops barking. :x

Now that I think of it, that is quite a lot like a real dog, but still it gets pretty damn irritating.

They clearly made some big improvements from him to Dogmeat in Fallout 4.

Is he the dog that cant be killed? I had him following me for ages and he came in very handy when it came to fights, especially as you can still have a regular follower with you so theres now 3 of you in each fight and one of you is an immortal dog.

I hav't tested out if he's immortal but I thought all the followers were? At least I've noticed with my other follower, I forget his name, he's the guy from Dawnstar with the Nightcaller temple quest, he's been hit a bunch of times by traps and his health never goes down to zero.

Followers are only sort of immortal, if their health gets low they go into a state similar to important NPCs where they crouch down looking injured. If they get hit during this phase they die, you can heal them when they go down if you have a spell like Healing Hands. If they don't get hit they get up after a while and are fine.

Just finish his quest then. It doesn't take too long. And you can get a cool axe out of it.

Either of which you'll almost immediately replace with something better that you crafted yourself or took from some random thing you just killed ;)

That's true more often than not but I have a tendency to use some of the Daedric artifacts such as Mace of Molag Bal, Ebony Mail, the Black Star and Spellbreaker.

To be fair, the black star is very strawberry floating useful.

I lost my first follower, Faendal, last night fighting some bandits that had killed an Imperial patrol and stolen their uniforms. We hadn't been together long so I wasn't that sad (plus got Lydia waiting in the wings) but I did the honourable thing:

Stripped him naked
Took all his gear
Dragged him to the river
Set him on his way to Valhalla

So long, brother!

Anyone on PS4 recommend many mods? The selection appears to be pretty slim pickings

I'm looking at this list (PS4 ones obviously)

https://www.vg247.com/2016/12/22/skyrim ... -xbox-one/

Gone Sneaky/Archer so far (will be going Bound Bow when available for Arcane Archer approach) and loving being back in the world.

Up to first dragon in main story,

I haven't even thought about the mods, won't look at them until I'm completely done with the vanilla game (which will probably be in 10 years).

The lack of being able to get trophies when using mods makes them pretty redundant for me.

Still asking for help : Dragonborn and Dawngard - I've got them to start now (level 19) but I've done barely anything of main quest of main game. Do they work better whenever or at a specific time?
