A wench is good for only 2 things - sweeping outside my door and refilling my tankard with ale. I need not of your uppity ways, scoundrel.

I can just imagine you on the sidelines shaking your head in disgust and then going round town telling everyone how much of a loser the so called Dragonborn is.

Is there a PS VR thread where I can ask lots of questions, read lots of terrible experiences and regret my purchase?

I don't want to hijack this one....

Had fun tonight. Would have had the stream up earlier but had issues with my tracking that I had to fix first.

Only downside to streaming VR is that I can’t see when people are commenting so sorry to Matt and Pedz for not replying to what they were saying more often. I watched the stream back and it looks far more manic then when playing. View looks like it’s bobbing all over the place, but it’s nice and smooth for me. The sound issues were from the mic and audio set up I had, not the game itself. Probably gonna stream more on Thursday night if anyone is interested.

Taking this very slowly at the moment as I can only find 30 minutes here or there. But that first time you walk into Dragonsreach in VR  And the skills menu

I've been meaning to say this, but VR Spiders can strawberry float right off. :dread:

So when you swing a weapon in game, are you swinging your arm in real-life? Or is it just a button on the move controller?

It's motion control, so arm swinging. You can do it with flicks and smaller movements though, so you don't need to flail about like a twat if you don't want to. Allows you to attack far faster than the DS4 does, which makes the bows OP as strawberry float. :D

I think the motion control is where bows and magic definitely win out in Skyrim. There doesn't seem an obvious way that melee weapons can give the tactile feedback required to give them weight or impact in any meaningful way. If someone could nail that (whether that is with 3d rumble, controller attachments, getting a volunteer to stand in front of you etc) then it could be something very special.

One of the reasons I wasn't playing with Move controllers. I think even they had analogue sticks on them so you could move around like you can on a normal controller, I wouldn't use them for this.

Its not that I hate motion controls, but just plonking them into a game never designed for them doesn't seem particularly great to me.

The motion controls in Skyrim have their positives and negatives. 1 to 1 hand movement on magic and bows is awesome, moving is pretty decent, melee weapons is ok. Menus though are a real pain, scrolling through lists with the trigger and a gesture is very imprecise and frustrating.

And those buttons :dread: too small and not intuitively placed.
