EDIT: Shopto have got it at £40.

Eve might be £25 now but at launch it was going for more than £50 (ridiculous given its content).

I'm sure it'll be available somewhere sub £40 for launch and sub £30 in a sale a few months after.

It's looking pretty decent, Garth. I saw the IGN vid through the Switch thread and I was a little concerned about the motion controls - they seem good enough but I wanted to know what the standard controls are like. Fortunately, your first video shows that they also work fine!

I have only dabbled briefly with Skyrim and this feels like a good opportunity to get back into the adventure.

Even in slightly tempted even though owning both normal with DLC and Legendary on Steam just for the handheldness of Skyrim..

I had planned on getting it, but since picking up my PSVR I've decided to go for that version when it releases instead. I can justify buying it again, just not twice, although the portability factor is a massive benefit. If I see a good deal I may still triple-dip on it.

Started this again recently but on Xbox One, really enjoying it this time round. I got so distracted by mods and things on PC that I never actually played the game only screwed about with mods, this time I'm actually playing it is good.

Why is it that despite owning two copies of this game already, and actually not really feeling like I've ever enjoyed my time with it all that much, I am still feeling the urge to purchase this on Switch?!

There must be something about TES games that allows them to hold this influence over me! I think it's something about liking the idea of the game, or possibly the hope of what that game could be, that draws me in despite the fact that the reality never feels all that satisfying!

Bitchin' trailers and atmosphere?

I've rinsed it on PC and PS4 now (other than one of the DLC packs...Zelda came along). I'm still a little bit tempted.

I'd love another proper TES soon though :(

Aye that trailer did give me the feels™ back in the day. I have spent upwards of 200 hours on it over the standard and special editions on PC so it's obviously doing something right, there's just always a nagging feeling after playing it that I'm not having as much fun as I want to be!

I think partly its because I rarely stick to the major quest lines. I spent even longer playing Oblivion and have still never taken that ring to whoever it is the King asks you to - Jofrey? I tend to lose myself just dicking around and picking up side quests!

There is some lovely music in the game, particularly the ambient/exploration stuff. It's almost an annoyance when an enemy shows up and the fight music has to kick in!

That said I think Bethsoft still need to up their game in this area post-Witcher 3, the music when exploring each of the provinces in that is stunning, Skellige in particular.

It certainly is, Garth - very impressive to see such a game running in portable mode. I'm keen to get this although I don't think a release date has been mentioned yet.

Hoping it's just something to do with those videos but there looks like a worrying amount of input lag going on - the right analogy stick in particular seeming very slow to respond to moving the view around. Although to be fair I've never really played it third person so maybe it's just like that anyway?

I already own this on 360 with DLC and the definitive edition on PC.

Got every single achievement for this on 360 and then did another complete play through on PC, also.

I think getting it on Switch as well might be overkill.

Do they cover the battery performance in that DF video? I can't imagine it lasting too long in handheld mode when playing something as graphically demanding as Skyrim.

Looks pretty decent though, not that I own or am likely to own a Switch this decade :(
