Day 1 for me, loved Oblivion but the missus got hold of our copy of Skyrim and basically hogged it for a year so now this is my turn. Need to polish off Fallout 4 first though.

Would love a remaster of Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim in some kind of epic triple pack though.

I never got into Skyrim and I'm pleased to see this remaster. I'd like to grab this for PS4; the winter setting should fit in well with the late October release. Dat immersion :datass: .

Any word on bringing old saves into it? I've put over 200hrs into Skyrim on 360.

You could bring your ps3 save to pc (I did it) so I'm guessing you can.

Surely this has to be fairly cheap if it's going to be free for some pc players.
It would seem rather unfair if this is £40 on console.

Does this include all the DLC? My system crashed near the start of Dragonborn on 360 and I never went back to it.

If that wasn't in some way sponsored I'll eat my strawberry floating pointy viking hat. "The most beautiful interiors you've ever seen in a game?" Jog on mate.

Wow that looks very impressive, and captured on an X1 no less. Can't wait to see it on PS4 Pro/Scorpio.

Thing with Skyrim is, on 360 I spent ages just looking at stuff so to see such a dramatic improvement is (to me) jaw dropping. I'm aware that it looks that good on PC before you all jump in.

I watched a Playstation Access video this morning where they walked from 1 side of the map to the other (Markarth to Riften), such a gorgeous trip down memory lane

That vid does look impressive; I've not played the original Skyrim but it seems terrifically atmospheric.

Just gotta work out whether I'm going to jump in with the PS4 version or save my money for the Switch version. Really not sure at the moment.

Don't hold your breath on the Switch version, Jawa. I doubt it'll have the graphical prowess of the PS4/XB1 versions, which kind of negates its existence on the Swtich. Might as well just play the original version if you aren't getting it on the beefy consoles.

Well, the PS4 version has mod support confirmed I believe. It remains to be seen if the Switch could even support that.

So I woke up again at midnight last night after going to bed at 8 (didn't sleep well Wednesday night) ANYWAY I fired this up and played till 2:30am. Played the opening part and first quest to get your shout power.

First off, you do notice the graphical upgrade, hugely so at times. I never noticed blood splatter on my sword/axe before looks brilliant. The NPC's seem to have been upped also. Draw distance is way better and now your bow can hit people/things from miles away, Arrows used to deload over major distances. Another think I noticed was dead dogs bodies remained like (in game) days after I killed them...saving was also split second fast.

If you love Skyrim its a must buy.

PS4 has 1gb mod support with no new assets...so it's barely mod support at all.

As I said, if you loved original you'll love this.

Couple of Screenshots I took.
